No way we should spend all that money on Pulisic...

I wouldn't mind him here, but not that for much..

I question the 90mm for Lemar, too though... love the player but..

If I was gonna blow the lions share on one player, it would probably be Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

edit: It also looks like we are now gonna have to spend to replace Emre in the summer too... that almost blows more than the coutinho situation (situation - not player).. He's a 30mm + player in today's market

On another note, It would have been impossible, but I would have loved signing Barkley for 15mm..

I think Klopp could have got the most out of him and its a relative low risk price..

obviously the Everton connection made that impossible..

Agreed.

If you are trying to break that money down, you could offer 50m or so for Pulisic - however, I doubt he would come to Liverpool at this point because we have two starting wingers.

I'm not sure Lemar is worth 90m either - he's a risk, but its a good risk.

SMS wouldn't take 100m would he? I would think he could be gotten for 70 or so, similar to what keita would cost before his release cause would have come into it? Maybe I'm wrong. But he'd be great with Klopp.

Not sure if 100... but 75 + IMO... added bonus is he isn't cup tied for UCL..

Lemar + Mahrez (whatever the money split), I am warming up to..

I think you can play him as a #10 or one of the 3 behind Firmino..

If you offer BvB all the Coutinho money, there is no way they say no..

His future is in the center. He already plays there for the USMNT and will play there for club pretty soon.

I don't think they'd say no if you offered all of the Cou money, but they did lose their other young star just six months ago.

In terms of worldwide future stardom and marketability, I'd be surprised if he isn't worth a lot more than a lot of people assume.

Agree with this... But we know Klopp would love to get him in the squad, wouldn't be surprised to see us shell out big bucks to make it happen

Transfermarkt usually lowballs their player values. They have him valued at €45 million. Same as Leroy Sane. Think he would be an elite number 10 in this squad with the movement and ability we have up front. I’m salivating at the thought

A twitter account that has been accurately predicting line ups has Van Dijk starting tonight.

I like finishing top 4 and making it easier to sign better players more.

lol straight looser mentality

Your only shot left at a trophy this season and you don't want it. Klopp needs to deliver one soon.

Not at all. I'm aiming for the more important trophies down the line. I'd much rather rest players this weekend after playing a bunch of games in the past few weeks. Settling for the FA Cup just to win a trophy while jeopardizing your chances at Champions League and the EPL is the truly the losers' mentality.

I'd gladly forfeit the ability to play in the FA Cup if it increased our chances to win the league or CL.
