Looks good, but surprised its not a different ball. Its the same model as last year. Just with new colors on it.

I have the Bundesliga match day ball made of the same type of material. Its pretty awesome to play with.

A ball and the quality make all the difference in the world. If you played you would know this.

Didn't we definitely find this out with the Jabulani?

I'd almost forgotten about that abomination of a ball.

So i guess those textured balls are basically the new tech in soccer balls. I think i like it but the first time i played a game with one i kept stepping on the ball and tripping over it.

These new age balls definitely expose weak spots in someone's game

If you have a bad first touch or no finesse with you passing the ball will just slice off the sweet spot or instep.

I played in high school from 2011-14, so of course everyone used Jabulanis.

Fricking terrible balls, but as a forward I scored some pretty crazy ones due to the unpredictable way the ball moved. It was a nightmare for goalkeepers. The newer balls we have now are so much better.

I never said it didn't. I've just never cared about what type of ball a league used.

They could roll out the cheapest ball you could find at Wal-Mart and it wouldn't impact how much or little I watch of the league.

Or it could be a little bit of the old defender in me. Thinking I don't care what ball you are using. I'll take it away from you just the same.

A shitty $15 plastic could make the game almost unwatchable at the pro level for plenty of reasons.

There is a reason these top quality balls run upwards of $200.
