Maybe one day the US will have someone in our pool like this guy or Eden Hazard. I'll keep my fingers crossed...
Come on Ben Lederman, make the SB proud.

His agent was saying that Bayern was interested in him. Most of the fans on the Bayern board I read weren't convinced and aren't completely sold on him yet. A lot of those guys are too obsessed with Shaqiri to talk about any other young players though.

Headed to Chelsea from everything I've seen. Probably in January.

I read on fox soccer that Chelsea was interested. Every aspect of this guy's game is picture perfect. He has great footskills and can take on defenders 1v1, has an awesome free kick, makes ridiculous shots/goals out of nothing, and has brilliant vision/passing. Jesus Christ when can we get someone in the US pool with his skillset?

Literally no way he will move in January. Lille just lost three players from their championship side. They won't lose anymore. It's sad that he has a stated desire to go play for Arsenal, but we'll be priced out. Zidane is obsessed with him at Real. I'm sure a bidding war will ensue, with Inter, Real, Liverpool, and Chelsea all in for him.

He was talking about De Bruyne, I think.

Oh my bad. I was watching the video and kept thinking about Hazard for some reason.
I'm really surprised no big club picked up Steven Defour. Really good CM.

I was hoping Bayern would get Defour. Porto only paid like 6.5 for him.

Hell of a steal. He's still 23. A good European campaign or two will help raise his profile. Porto will probably sell him for upwards of 15 million.
I'm wondering when Christen Eriksen will move. Another amazing player.

Yeah Chelsea made an offer on closing day and it got turned down but he really wanted to come and made a bit of a fuss. He came out a week later and said that he was ok at Genk, but that he expects to be with Chelsea soon(hopefully January). It was said that Chelsea was going to immediately loan him back to Genk for the rest of the season.

Buying someone and then loaning them right back to their old team seems kind of silly to me. Why wouldn't Genk just hold on to him a little longer and let his value increase even more? Plus, when he signs a contract with a bigger club he will have a much higher wage, which Genk would then have to pay.

The way he strikes the ball is ludicrous

We had one who was born here. I am not saying his name though. His outside the box shooting and vision are incredible.
