You got the wrong guy. I hadn't bought a FIFA since 2002 when I started following Chelsea in 06/07.
I became a Chelsea fan after loving Essien in the 06 World Cup which coincided with me getting a job and being able to get FSC and following him/them after that.

Does it really matter how we became a fan of a team? I was 9 when I started cheering for United...you think I was in love with their tactics at that age? No, I loved playing with them on FIFA and liked their kits, so I started following the real-life team.

Spain's attendance this week was staggeringly bad. Something like 40% of seats were empty (last season's average was 30%).

I don't know that many people that are fans of a team because of FIFA lol.
I'm a Barcelona fan through and through for many personal reasons. On FIFA I only play as Mallorca, Spain, or USA. My friend is a huge AC Milan fan, yet he only plays with Roma and Lazio. I find most of my friends would rather play with a lesser team.

I honestly enjoyed the Bundesliga matches i watched last season more per capita than EPL matches. Though it was like 12 to 50-60.

There isn't a lot of English language commentary either for the league. On ESPN3.com several of the Bayern feeds I watched dropped the German announcers and just piped in the stadium mics.

The average bundesliga match is more open and entertaining than an EPL match because most British are soccer retarded. That's why teams like Arsenal with very few English players are the most entertaining EPL teams.

God you're a douche. So teams like Bayern, Dortmund, Barcelona, Real, Man City, and Man U don't care about winning? Chelsea got insanely lucky with their "pragmatic" approach last year. Messi missing pk's, Drogba scoring wonder headers, Napoli refusing to park the bus, Cech playing the best he has in his entire career. Stop acting like that's a consistent formula for winning, at least with this Chelsea team

Yeah, because the British win more than the Germans.
Chelsea has realized they need better players and brought in several foreigners to bring something to the team other than being good at packing the box.
