I'm thinking Salah and his peeps got add ons

I had heard the 340/week was the max he could get with his add-ons. Although wages are usually not reported as that, so I'm skeptical. Usually the base is reported, with add-ons possible after that, like you said.

Gomez signs long term extension

Kinda surprised me. He could start on a ton of good squads and you’d think Konate/VVD are gonna be the main cb for years to come. Plus it’s not like Matip has fallen off yet. I guess the plan will be for Gomez/Konate/VVD to be the main 3 of the future

United putting out a strong starting 11 against us. ETH trying to get those pussies to gel and start off on the right foot

Our lineup:

Alisson, Mabaya, Phillips, Gomez, Chambers, Henderson, Morton, Carvalho, Elliott, Diaz, Firmino.

Manure:

De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Fernandes, Sancho, Martial, Rashford.

Sheesh we couldn't finish to save our lives. Only preseason though. Darwin's positioning was good, he was definitely playing as a traditional 9.

Man U rolling out their A team - it's clear they are trying to get the team to gel. Despite score I thought we looked pretty decent for it being a pre-season roster with a very mis-match lineup

Makes sense that they would roll out the first 11, considering the new manager and his need to get to know the squad. We controlled for swaths of first half, but they punished us for every single mistake. It happens.

Our youngsters looked very good vs the Liverpool first team players in the second half

Speaking of young players

When y’all gonna cut your loses with with Jones and go all in with Elliot

Jones is a weird one. He's excellent in an attacking 8 role, but we rarely use him in that position. When we do he plays very well.

Harvey is more of a winger than a midfielder, and we only ever use him further forward and in a wide position.

Their strengths are similar but for some reason we use them in very different ways.

Shaq was plagued by injury, otherwise great player. Jones is pretty hit or miss. Elliot tends to show more potential in the few minutes he gets vs Jones IMO.

I agree, but you have to caveat that with the fact that Elliot and Jones are more or less the same player, but they are played in very different roles. That hurts Jones much more than Elliot. I think if Jones is given the free range in attack like Elliot is you'd see similar impressive play. Jones's best games for us have been when Jurden took the leash off and let him loose (Bournemouth and Brentford come to mind).

I’d be happy to start it unless anyone else wants to. I do a good job of keeping things like that updated weekly
