It's not pretty, but the US hasn't conceded an open play goal all World Cup.

I'll give Gregg the benefit of the doubt until it doesn't work.

GB over Aliou Cissé is criminal. Is there context with these ratings?

It’s l’équipes match ratings averaged I think.

Along the same lines Southgate seems overrated.

Has nothing to do with Gregg, but since we're talking about World Cup stats/rankings here. Pulisic was top 5 among players to have touches inside opponents box and Jedi was 9th in possessions won – he was the only player in the top 10 that didn't at least play in a semifinal.

That's not how any of this works. Is this your first coaching search of any sport?

Hot take: USMNT extends Gregg through the end of May to cover Camp Cupcake and Nations League March window. Allows USMNT to hire a club manager following the end of the season and allows Gregg to go grab a second tier or lower first tier euro job ahead of next season.

People will still complain.

Romano on the #USMNT coaching situation: At the moment, nothing concrete with Top European managers. Only conversations between agents. It’s still very much an “open situation”

Yeah, they are definitely getting someone new at some point.

Apparently we are talking to multiple European managers

This makes too much sense

Apparently Gregg was being blackmailed during the World Cup

US Soccer's response, they'll announce who will lead Camp Cupcake in the coming days:

Not a Gregg fan, but this is some serious bullshite. The biggest problem with cancel culture is its unwillingness to forgive those people who have genuinely undergone the effort to change themselves for the better.

Good on Gregg.

That’s some weak arse blackmail. I want a new coach as much as anyone but WTF. The guy was 18 and made a mistake. Politicians are forgiven for much worse.
