His style just seems to be perfect for them and I think he would dominate if placed in that role that Pedro currently occupies. His speed of thought and creative ability on the ball would be deadly with them

Yeah true. Well hopefully in 3 years Pool will be back on top so he wont want to leave. Then we can throw that skrilla at him to make his arse stay put.

Here is a nice SI video clip with LFCs trainer, Darren Burgess.

https://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vid...tsIllustrated/

Says Lucas will be back next week and Suarez should be back 8 days before the Sunderland match.

I still think long term we lose him to Barcelona, but until that happens I'm so excited to watch him play.

Sadly, this. He would be a perfect fit for Barca or Real Madrid.

He should have 2-3 amazing years at Liverpool though. And with the way the market is going, his value will be so inflated that it will be worth it to sell him.

Anyone else watching the friendly?

Shelvey gets a yellow card for a choke slam... No joke.

I seriously can't even remember the last time I watched him play. I mean I love the guy, but Jesus Christ. This shite is getting fricking ridiculous.

I wasn't commenting because I was afraid we didn't have adequate replacements. He was out for most of Kenny's resurgence last year and we were fine. I'm simply saying the guy can't stay healthy if he confined himself to a straight jacket and a padded cell.

I'm so glad Aqui wasn't sold- I think he ends up being a star for us this year.

He's so good on the ball and I don't know if a pairing with him and Adam would work, but we could have a very lethal midfield.

frick I can't wait for this season to start

Valerenga-Liverpool 12 CT on FSC.

Already 1-0 Valerenga. I wish Dalglish would have spent a little $$ on the back line. Also, is patrick robinson wearing meireles's number??

Penalty for Valeranga, goal. 2-0 Valerenga

I think it is going to happen. FSG is waiting out Birmingham City and Newcastle to get the price on Dann and Enrique down.

Downing was looking pretty good before Valerenga took over. But every time I see Henderson play I think the same thing, I just don't get it. I thought one of the funniest managerial comments of the year was Bruce saying they wouldn't sell him for less than 25 million. And they almost got that much.

Glen Johnson is having a rough time to say the least.

Yeah its pretty sloppy. They are gonna get another one if they keep counter-attacking. Carroll needs to get his thumb out of his arse.
