I'd be surprised if he is not sold.

Did you see the comments on that Enrique link, where fans are wondering if KK is racist for signing only white players so far??

Aqua is creative, and I've always liked him, but he's had his share of fitness problems that has held him back.

I'm just worried where he will fit into the 4-3-3.

This is what I would like to see:

And who do you play at LB for the 29 games in which Agger is injured?

If Agger does get injured, and we all know he will, I will reluctantly accept Glen Johnson at LB.

But I am still hopeful that we will sign a LB.

Depth at this point. We will be seeing plenty of John Flanagan and Jay Spearing.

I imagine Flanagan and Robinson will each see the pitch a decent amount.

I'd be surprised if we don't.

If we don't sign another CB I'd expect to see a fair amount of Kelly in the middle.

Rafa bought him injured, he's been fine since then...

If we are going to play a 4-3-3...I'd have Johnson at RB, a new LB. I'd prefer more of a fluid midfield with Gerrard, Adam, Aquilani and Lucas (alternating...long season), and I'd flip flop Suarez and Downing. If those two are going to be wingers/forwards, I'd rather see them cutting in on their stronger foot.

That being said, I think we will alternate between this and a 4-4-2, were I'd prefer Downing on the left flank sending in crosses to Carroll. I also like Suarez in more of a free role in this formation...4-4-1-1

With Carroll at center forward I can't disagree with this enough.

Not me. I want reliable crosses into the box.

Just my opinion, I don't see their (winger) role the same in a 4-3-3...we should have attacking FBs that are supplying the crosses to carroll...

Suarez is too valuable to confine to one side of the field...thats why i like the 4-4-1-1...

Hell, I wouldnt count out the 3-5-2, at times...

Precisely. Truth be told, even great headers of the ball usually don't score more than 10 with their head. Anything above five would be superb. Carrol is excellent in the air, but he'll have to show goal poaching instincts to be considered truly elite. Suarez is such a dynamic player that running the offense through him isn't a bad idea. He's not a winger, and would drift inside anyway, sacrificing width. Suarez can pair with Carrol better if he is five yards behind him. Downing can cross it from either side.

I think Kuyt will definitely still fit into KK's plans. He may not be in the starting 11 for every game, but will still get his fair share of starts and playing time. He should be starting against Sunderland if Suarez and Uruguay make it all the way to the Copa America Final (which they should).

I don't understand Carrol. Suarez is a much better player, but it looks like they've set the squad up to be Carrol-centric. Doesn't make sense.

Carroll is really just your classic number 9 up top. He is huge, can use his head (masterfully), and can be a great goal poacher.

Suarez will be a great link between the midfield and the final third of the field.

I think #7 and #9 are going to compliment each others style of play wonderfully.

Even if they don't win and make the finals, they still will have the third place game. Suarez won't play the first week either way.
