I will reluctantly accept Glen Johnson at LB.

I will not be happy with this. He filled in there last year and was serviceable, but with all the money we spent this year, we shouldn't have a right-footed back spending the majority of the time at LB.

And who do you play at LB for the 29 games in which Agger is injured?

After watching all of Uruguay's matches in the Copa, I wouldn't be disappointed if we were in for Alvaro Pereira at LB.

Diego Godín looks like a popular name among the Liverpool twitterers this morning. I'd be happy with him.

Yes, another Uruguayan...Havent been able to see much of him this Copa due to him not being fit. Their other young CB, Coates, looks like a good prospect, as well...

He's a giant. I expect he'll be bought soon.

yeah, I read Nacional would have sold him for 3.5 a month ago, but now believe they can get 20 million...

Unbelievable...

10 mil is a fair price, but he won't go for 20, unless Man City goes in for him.

I really think Suarez is playing himself into one of the top forwards in world football...

He was excellent again yesterday

Hopefully, we can fend off the offers from Barca and Madrid, when they come calling...

We stood tall in the past when they came drooling over Torres. Until the idiots were stupid enough to offer 50 mil for him....

I still think Suarez ends this year with his name in the hat for best player in the world. He became Liverpool's best player last year the second he stepped on the field and I think that continues this year.

I still think long term we lose him to Barcelona, but until that happens I'm so excited to watch him play.

He's the sole reason why I'd bet my house that Liverpool ends up in the top 4, and honestly I think they make a solid run at top 2.

I'd like to see at least a new LB & CB first...and with another top striker, I think a push for the title wont be out of the question.

I still think it's funny that 'Arry passed on him, because he didnt think he could lead the line...

I'll take two or three great years out of him then sell him to Barca for 60M or so in an off season after qualifying for the Champions League.

This. If Barca wants to offer up 60M for Suarez in a few years then I'm all for it, since we could buy a couple quality strikers to fill in for him. Although I love Suarez and I hope he never leaves

I got to agree with a lot thats already said. Suarez is definitely going to be listed as one of the best forwards in the world this next season, he already showed his brilliance when he showed up at Anfield. Unfortunately though, after a few years , i too think he'll be picked up by Real Madrid or Barca...but at a hefty price so it'll have a silver lining.

I'm more worried about Carrol producing compared to what i'm expecting from Suarez. I guess it's unfair to look at it like that but oh well

none that I know of other than he's said he'd love to play for them.

His style just seems to be perfect for them and I think he would dominate if placed in that role that Pedro currently occupies. His speed of thought and creative ability on the ball would be deadly with them
