The referee doesn't hate your favorite team. He has been absolutely awful though. Arsenal were the better team through 65ish minutes. Sending off sealed the game though.

Some of this commentating has been strange. Kovacic shouldn’t have been sent off, but Xhaka getting a red there is a bit of a stretch. Barkley’s was more of a red than Xhaka’s.

Chelsea have been pretty bad outside the first 20 min and had two awful injuries. So as awful as Anthony Taylor was today it is still on Chelsea being poor

So what are the excuses going to be next season after Chelsea fail to land within the top 4?

Once again, he was gift wrapped a title. Kante out. Willian out. Dave going off injured inside 20 minutes meaning Chelsea was essentially stuck with a back three. Pulisic going off injured on a play he probably scores had he not had his hamstring explode. Then a bad 2nd yellow to seal the game.

Ref was fine until the sending off, he’s made a few bad calls since. Hard to say he’s the reason we lost but he effectively killed the game with that terrible second yellow. Congrats Arsenal

Yeah, we were undone by squad limitations more than anything. The 2nd yellow just ruined our shot to steal a goal and possibly win at the end or in penalties.
