re: The FA Cup Final | In The Know's Chelsea vs glassman's GunnersPosted by StraightCashHomey21 on 8/1/20 at 3:43 pm to different arse
It was a very entertaining match
Pretty sure Chelsea didn’t have a shot on target the second half
Pulisic getting hurt completely changed the game
He was gashing Arsenal
PEA was doing circles around the Chelsea back four as well

Yeah, I mean, he probably would've scored that second chance but you could tell he was screaming pain two steps before the shot.

Was disheartening how Arsenal possessed the ball the entire 25 to 45 min of the first
CFC didn’t stand a chance after CP22 went out
Send out the 2nd unit on Saturday, finish the season and start preparing for September
All things considered, this 4th was a nice finish to an odd season with an FA finalist on top

Derp, Arsenal were in Europe last season you bozo. It's been since like 96 since they haven't.

He's pretty much shat on Arsenal since Wenger. I just think he hated Wenger.
Or he tries to be so unbiased he just shits on Arsenal.

The one person that deserved to be sent off was azpi. The second yellow was a bit harsh on kovacic even though it was a foul.

If we played a team that lost two of their biggest players to injuries, a third to a shambolic call, and multiple calls against us, I’d be texting my arsenal friends letting them know that I understand how ridiculous refs can be and that it was a really unfortunate game for them. But that’s a Chelsea fan. Beacon of morality. Keeper of the CL.

Let’s be honest here. Take out the injuries and multiple fouls, Chelsea looked like dog shite after the first 15 minutes. They looked flat as hell and had no urgency to push. Frank looked lost at times. I understand the frustration but it’s time to move on.

The azpi? Yes it does actually. The double jeopardy is if you make an attempt at the ball. Putting your hand on someone nes shoulder when you are behind them is not playing the ball. It's been a fricking red card for Xhaka and Luiz wearing an Arsenal jersey.

Ignoring the fact he got hurt (again), the fact an American having to come out of a major Cup final in Europe impacted the game like this is pretty amazing and badass.

Chelsea didn't have a shot on target after the 10th minute or so. There was no reason to play Giroud if you aren't going to pepper the box with balls to him, which Chelsea didn't. I'd argue the early goal hid the fact that Chelsea had the wrong tactics from the start. Matching Arsenal's 3 ATB with their own 3 ATB, but without two strikers, made little sense, since Arsenal's system is a lot like Wenger's old systems, where one winger is essentially an inside forward and the other winger plays as an auxiliary no. 10. when they cut inside on their stronger foot. What this meant was that there was a spare man for Chelsea, a 3 v 2 situation, which is what the 3 ATB system is meant to mitigate, but Giroud was outnumbered 3 v 1, with no one close to him. Once Pulisic's injury meant that they had no dribbler who could move with the ball to get close to Giroud, they were left in a no-win situation by virtue of the way they set themselves up initially.
