Top is expected goals. Circles are chances.

I’m not so pessimistic. I think we have a 1-1 in us again and then who knows wtf happens.

I’m holding on to hope we send Arsene out with a trophy.

I love Kos but he shouldn’t be our #1 defender anymore. He should take a back seat and play the backup role in his last couple years for us. We desperately need a new CB, I’m not sure about two. I have faith Mustafi/Chambers/Holding can be decent with good coaching. Then there’s the left field option of Mavrapanos(?)
Right back is a need. Not a £25m need, but a need.

DM is another need but one that, with a solid back line, we can survive without. We do need another midfielder though. Idc if he’s a DM or box to box.

A young winger would be great but not a must. Give me a 20-23 year old pacy son of a gun who just wants to go at the opposing back line. If we can’t find one, Welbz has really done good this last month or so and I think he’ll carry that form over. His link up play with Auba and Lacazette has been great

remember when many on this board were jizzing over the kostafi pair during the1st half of the season last year?

what a shitshow that pairing has been

mustafi is only 26 but physically plays like a 46 yr old with a 12 yr old mind

Mkhitaryan is back for the United match. Good we will need him to help unlock Athletico's stingy defense.

That was a good pairing then. We've gone to shite in pretty much every respect since then.

Damn no posting for today’s match lol we went young in the lineup. Actually didn’t look half bad. Great showings by Maitland Niles, Chambers, and the young Greek Freak. Miki scores the lone goal.

AMN looked really good. I think he’s more of an 8 than a 6 after yesterday.

Por que? I'm confident we can score a goal but worried that we'll need at least 2 or 3 and just don't see how we get that many past this defense at the Wanda.

1-0 or 2-2 will see us through. We can definitely do it. It's going to be tough but it usually is in a European semi final. It's one game and we have shown that on our day we can play with just about anyone.

Perhaps Miki is the x-factor missing from the first leg. I'm feeling okay about our chances today.

Looks like Kosc just broke his ankle. Freak injury. No one around. Looked bad

ETA: must be his Achilles.

It's probably the achilles that has been causing issues for a while now. I'v heard it's a pretty awful pain when you tear it.
