So Gomis is all but gone to Marseilles which is fine but that would also make 3 strikers out and none in so far. Looks like we will be relying heavily on Ayew for goals
But don't worry, saw this morning we are in the hunt for our 3rd keeper. Some guy from Australia. That should help

Watched Swansea play this past Wed in a friendly vs our USL team here in Clt. Prepare yourselves for a bottom half finish this season.

Aren't there rumors of Ayew looking to leave as well?

Not really. All you hear is insert team name here is interested in him and that was it. Can't afford to lose him as well

Looks like Enner Valencia for £10.8M. 8 goals in 50+ games. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

Nathan Dyer reportedly will stay with the club this season

So Gomis officially on loan. Let's check in on the transfer activity in Swansea to bring in some strikers
Posted on 7/29/16 at 9:50 am to etm512
I'm actually quite jealous of yalls transfer window
Posted on 7/29/16 at 10:27 am to St Augustine
Ha. Yeah Moyes needs to get moving too. Any action there?
I really fear that if we don't bring in a quality striker that can get 15 goals, relegation is all but certain. Where the frick is all the money?

I think yall need to keep the big clubs off of Ayew. I assume yall are looking for more a target man type to put up front as opposed to a smaller striker? I feel a berahino type would do awesome with Swans if you went smaller. Any truth that Bony may return? I guess the really bad thing about letting Gomis go so early is now teams are gonna play hardball with price of strikers for you.
We've been linked with Sakho from West ham as our main striking target but I think they want to buy first , Fellaini to play attacking mid like he does for Belgium, M'vila to return (probably most important deal in works), and Januzaj (mainly because I think papers are being lazy with Moyes relationship). We really REALLY need a right back.
Amen

If he or Gylfi are sold we going down for sure. And all reports about offers being made for Ayew have been repeatedly denied.

The 2 man names are Fernando Llorente and Ulloa so yes that is accurate.
I think the problem with Berahino would be his wages compared to his production of late.

Everyone wants him back. It would make everyone forget about the Joe Allen debacle as well. A very aggressive attempt should be made to bring him back. If he doesn't want to come back, fine. But make him say no.
Another huge problem is that other than Llorente we seem to only be looking in the UK where your bang for buck is awful

Sakho had a decent goal return 2 seasons ago so that wouldn't be bad. I guess Fellaini knocking down or flicking on balls for Defoe could be good. While not pretty at all it can be effective. I would have to imagine M'vila would be in favor of making that a permanent move

So we are selling our captain to Everton for £10M. The white flag might just need to be raised now. No clue WTF is going on here but this summer so far has been a disaster and if no big signings are made we are sure to go down. fricking disgrace

Gylfi signs a new deal. Finally some good news in all this mess.
Now, go sign Bony damn it.

Going to have to get someone up top. Is there a capable striker on the roster?
Posted on 8/2/16 at 9:30 am to novowels
No. Ayew was used up top towards the end of last season but I wouldn't call him a striker even though he was effective. IMO not something you want to rely on for a whole season. Oliver McBurnie is a 20 year old from the youth side with 0 senior team appearances but right now as far as strikers go he's the only one

Bid for Ash rejected in the end. Grew a backbone. Good.
Posted on 8/4/16 at 8:51 am to etm512
Llorente will be in Swansea for a medical tomorrow and still heavily linked with Borja Baston. Landing both of these guys would be pretty big at this point
