There are a lot of reasons Swansea's chairman wanted bob. Him being American is lower on that list than you might think. If you look at the amazing work he did in a short period of time with teams in France, Sweden, and Egypt, under poor circumstances and with hodge podge rosters, then I think you would realize this. Swansea is in a similar circumstance right now.

Bob is good with getting results with what he is given. If people in Wales are asking for his head after three games, it's short sighted and a sad reflection of the current "results immediately" climate in European soccer, and I would guess a bit of anti-American sentiment as well. Swansea played well and almost stole a point from Arsenal at the emirates. Then they tied a very solid Watford team. So y'all lost away against a stoke team that has two of your best former players? Well shite, I guess selling your best players to other teams in your league has downsides.

Swansea is god awful and that has little to do with Bob. Give the man some time to adjust to a new league and a shite team, and maybe even a transfer window or two, before losing patience. The man won a World Cup group with Ricardo fricking Clark starting in midfield and Jonathan Bornstein at left back, despite having two legit goals stolen from us in the process. Bob will eventually come good, just as he has in every other job he has taken during his career. Expecting a shite team to suddenly become better overnight, with no change in the players on the pitch, is asking a bit much, even from someone with a track record as good as Bob Bradley's.

No I'm with you. I am with Bob and hoping he can do it. This team is just so so bad right now I feel he is in for a tall task.

Nobody is calling for Bob's head right now at all. The issues at Swansea are behind the scenes and it is very sad since it once was a club that many should have modeled themselves on.

The problem with Bob isn't necessarily that he's American or that he's not doing great right now.

The problem is that he (and, to an extent, Guidolin)'s a stylistic break from everything the club has been since the fan insurrection. A sizeable section of the support fears that the club is heading back to the dark days. There's another section that fears the club could become just another 'English' club - a boring, international, marketing tool.

And the connection between the club and the fans seems to be eroding faster and faster. Also the recent news of Huw Cooze's salary from the club and his stepping down afterwards just adds to the list of distasteful happenings in the past 6 months.

We will see in January if the "investment" is one at all or just a stripping of the club's assets piece by piece.

And Bradley came out and said he is interested in bringing in Dimitar Berbatov in January. What year is this?

This team might be a dumpster fire, but that game on Saturday was a lot of fun to watch.

Yeah that was a lot to handle. Hopefully it jump starts this team into getting some positive results.

Fulton has been a pleasant surprise in midfield the past few games. Hopefully Llorente can get some service up top and be a consistent goal threat

I fear bob is completely out of his depth. These next 4 games are available to pick up points. Big holiday season here.

The squad is awful. Just real bad. The 1 "shot attempt" today was Gylfis blocked effort that travelled about 3 yards. Pathetic.

SOLD
Ayew
Williams
Bony
Allen
Shelvey
Sinclair
Davies
All sold.

Saw this tweet today. Every single one of these players could walk back into the squad and start tomorrow. No improvement made at all over the last few seasons. Where's the money

Williams is the worst. Defense wouldn't be in nearly this shape with him in there, even out of form.

Funny thing is Bradley would be a great candidate to manage Swansea in the Championship, but he'll be sacked before he gets the chance.

Williams saw the writing on the wall and jumped ship. The club has done a complete 180 from its principles and now paying for it. What a mess

Huge win today. Llorente starting to find his groove. Really like the little things he does. We really need a guy who can put some shots on goal outside of Gylfi to become more consistent.

Massive win today.

Wish it was someone other than the traidore with the final two goals, but it's important to keep Swansea up.

Massive massive massive win. Amazing what happens when you start a striker and provide service. Leon was superb. He really played well with Fulton too. Not a huge Routledge fan but when paired with Rangel they do pretty well together. Best game we have had in a long time
