Yeah, i mean, biting is just not something that one human should ever expect to experience from another human of adult age.

You've probably read many of the LFC based editorials on this, but Jim Boardman sums it up pretty good for me..

As long as we get a hefty sum, I'll support him at his next stop.

I just don't get why this is such a big deal. Yes he should be suspended and yes it is weird as frick. But it isn't like he is seriously hurting anybody. Much worse happens on the pitch. People need to calm the frick down IMO.

You don't understand why an adult being a serial biter is a "big deal."

Like biting another adult once every year or so is not a big deal to you?

How many times would an NBA player have to bite another player before he was banned for life?

What if that player had also been suspended for using a racial slur.

The NBA has a long history of much worse attacks than this.

Ron Artest has a long list of stuff he has done, that is far worse than biting. Again the biting is weird but its not like he is punching people. He was never banned for life.

Ron Artest Suspensions

I agree he should be suspended. Just all of these people up in arms wanting to ban him are freaking overreacting IMO. shite happens when you are in the heat of the moment. Biting obviously should be punished.

Now this.... This is America so we probably would take his job and blacklist him. But that is a whole other can of worms.

So in your mind, biting is worse than throwing punches, elbows to the head and actually fighting?

or did you just ignore the link?

These are things that happen on the pitch and you shouldn't attach so much importance to them.

Yes. 100% without question.

Especially when it's the third time.

Look at Tyson. His entire persona was predicated on beating the ever loving shite out of people. Punching them into unconsciousness. But he bites one guys ear off...

Now imagine he did it two more times.

Yea he bit his ear off... That is more than what Saurez did.

Plus that didn't just happen once. Tyson did it twice in the same match and didn't get disqualified until the 2nd bite. This is after Tyson had already been in trouble for a number of things including being in jail 3 years for rape.

Seriously how are you comparing the two?

I agree with biting being weird and all but this is not the worst thing ever like some are making it out to be. And yes he deserves around an 8 game international game ban.

I really believe that Suarez does this as a reflex before he can think about the consequences. They need to give him a mouthguard that he would have to spit out before doing this. Then he would be much less likely to do it.
