I'm pretty excited for both, but give me a couple weeks to pick one. If Tottenham make it to the group stages, EPL may win out for me this year.

after the spectacle/pursuit that was our last 6 weeks of the season last year, we had better take care of Young Boys to advance. Harry would never, ever, ever live it down if we blew it now

Agree, but I'm not into any other sport/team nearly as much.

Anyone who doesn't say college football when comparing it to soccer or anything else for that matter either plays or played that other sport at least in college or is a homo

At the risk of getting too personal, you just graduated this year? Did you play soccer there?

Look I can sink to the fallacy of name calling.

Never would have said so a few years ago, but I much prefer soccer to college football these days. Of course, I AM a Vandy fan...

haha if you told him my username, he would know right away. great guy.

we were the best team in the state bar none. very heartbreaking loss under the circumstances if you remember them. i did make my PK fwiw although i played awful throughout the game.

i have four members of the team in my basement right now, actually. other 3 will be back next year though.

Yea, he was my best friend growing up since we were about 4 years old. I went to yalls game against North Cobb and Harrison last year, dominated both. If you hadn't lost Jordan and your center back to that red card I'm sure yall would have beaten Northview (I think?). Hopefully the GHSAA will figure out a way to prevent the top two teams from playing in the first round from now on.

The ironic thing about this thread is the BCS is much, much closer to the way the domestic leagues decide their champions than any playoff is.

The funny thing about this statement is my brother who's going to be a junior in HS is a pretty good soccer player and has basically been playing his whole life (and has a really good chance to play at a D-I college), and he only played football two years when he was really young, not HS or anything, and while he enjoys watching the European leagues/MLS, college football blows soccer out of the water, to him.
