How much does it cost for the fire, out of curiosity?

THIS. This is what is wrong with club soccer in the US.

I don't even think there is a carrollton soccer anymore. They all consolidated into the Fire, CSA/PAC/Lakeview/NOSA/Lafreniere.

unfortunately, i think you are out of luck. Carrollton Boosters is still around and they are teaming up with the Jesters to put some teams together, but I'm not sure if they go past U13. You can search for Carrolton Boosters and there should be some info. There was another club that started last year called FC Nola, but I think they are struggling also. They had a website at one time.
The Fire club does offer financial assistance in some instances. You can check with the club for more info. After that, unfortunately you are left with JPRD and school soccer, both of which are pretty miserable.

When I played for Mandeville Soccer Club, it was pretty cheap. If you're willing to make the trek, it should be easier and cheaper to join.

I believe Kenny Farrell is trying to restart NOSA currently. The rest all belong to the Fire now. And the money thing is bs, you can play rec ball for very cheap.

Oh shite, they don't have NOSA and Lakeview anymore? Those kids were really bags of count.

thanks for the suggestions

CFJ consists of the old Lafreniere/Carrolton/Lakeview together. It's about $1,000 for the season. PAC is still out there on the west bank and St Charles is an ok option. Tryouts for all the club age groups was back in April and May.

The tryout period for U14 and above is June 4-14 and that is set by LSA. There shouldn't have been any tryouts in May for those ages. OP needs to contact other clubs ASAP because the dead period starts on the 15th.

I wanted to go cleats to the sky on some of the NOSA ACL's everytime we played with them.
