They are pretty much also the defacto Bavarian national team. It's rare to meet anyone from that state which is huge that doesn't support them.

Plus adidas' 10% stake in Bayern sure helps as well. It is bullshite. BuLi is totally stacked in Bayern's favor. Without some sort of financial rules alleviation, the rest of the league will basically be Bayern's bitches for the foreseeable future.

Never claimed to know anything about how the league is set up and I really don't care about the rules as far as how a team is owned. That aspect just doesn't interest me. Hell, it's the first season I've been able to watch it on TV.

honestly who knows especially with him coming off injury for so long. He wasn't exactly lighting up Bundesliga 2 when he was healthy. Even though it was a handful of matches. Poulsen and Selke their main strikers has been pretty good for them. But you have to think most roster spots are not safe b/c they will spend big to ensure they don't go straight back down.

Fans don't want it. People around the world love to white knight for German clubs saying that it would help them against Big Bad Bayern but fail to take into account that the German fans don't want sugar daddies. There's a reason ticket prices are low and they have the best fan support in Europe and a big part of that is the 50+1 rule.

My question is, is Hendo says fans don't want it. Does Leipzig have a big fan base? Or has the way the club works eliminated that as well?

They have a very small fan base
Most people in east Germany support Dortmund or Bayern. My wife's city where she grew up is about 45mins from Leipzig and the area really don't care about local teams b/c east Germany for years has had shitty clubs and most of the clubs have really bad issues with hooliganism.

I know my opinion on the topic isn't popular and i wont expect it to be with people who don't want to look at it from a different perspective. All I can do i share what i know from life experiences and show a different view point.
