Gianluigi Donnarumma has asked for his new AC Milan contract to be annulled because he felt pressured into signing the deal. Real Madrid and PSG are both interested. (Source: Gazzetta dello Sport)

And ahead of tonight's game, the Curva Sud unveiled a banner telling Donnarumma they want him gone, calling him a "piece of shite" as well as whistling when his name was announced in the warm-up. Brutal stuff indeed. As footage shows, the boyhood Rossoneri fan was visibly upset by the insults and his captain Bonucci had to console him beforehand.

Italian football fans are such collossal dicks

Yeah he's still just 18. Pretty fricked up considering Buffon is basically done.

They dont deserve Buffon or Donnarumma. Watching Buffon get torn up while his countrymen were booing the Swedish national anthem was heartbreaking. He’s given everything for them and they keep reminding him they’re fricktards.

These people still throw bananas at black players. Keep in mind that soccer is a primarily lower class sport in every country but ours.

In Russia, Zenit and Dynamo fans literally got in a fight and killed each other, and the Russian football minister said boys will be boys.

Pretty shitty that they did this to an 18 year old kid.

So he's an Italian, supposedly a "boyhood fan", signed a deal and now wants out of it and the fans are the bad guys?

Surprised that response didn’t include the word “snowflake”

I would love to see how you would react when 50,000 people are yelling at you. It must really hurt when you have achieved your childhood dream of playing for your club and they hate you.

I don’t know he whole story so I could be wrong but didn’t he bring this on himself when he threatened to leave the club to get more money?
Then he re-signed and now wants to anull his contract bc he was “forced to sign”?
IF. That’s the story, naw naw naw, frick that guy.

If I were 18 and playing for my childhood dream club who happened to be one of the biggest clubs in the world I would not be trying to get out. And if I were I would understand why they hated me.

Threw a fit in the summer through Raiola. Was rewarded with a €6m/year deal after taxes as well as a €1m/year deal for his brother. Now is already trying to force a move away and is claiming psychological duress.
Lol gmafb. Makes more in a week than 95% of the fans at the stadium make in several years, and is upset because the fans are sick of his camp continue to stir shite in the media

Sure, that's valid. On the other side Milan is completely mismanaged. They spent $200 million on a roster overhaul that has already got a coach sacked and sit outside the European spots. They show no signs of reclaiming past glory any time soon.

The kid is 18, he's literally got like 20 years ahead of him at the position he plays. It's not like his window is closing.
Milan will be good again, everyone knows that but it's not going to happen if their young talent keeps acting like this kid. He can stay a few years see if things get better and be part of the solution and become a legend at his boyhood club.
If, in 4 or 5 years, they are still a mess he would be in his early 20s and be able to name his club and his price.
Give them a chance. This kid is bringing all this "duress" on himself.
