I agree. But, to put him on the same level as atleast 10 other Managers is ludicrous. ManU will miss SAF on the touchline, any person who says otherwise is crazy.

I don´t know. Bitchin´in Scottish, is bitchin´in Scottish. Moyes may be more comprehensible to the likes of Chicharito, etc....

This post says a lot IMO.

Even though it's not an in-house promotion, I could see this situation working like the Shankly to Paisley days at Liverpool. Legendary manager with great personality builds a super club and steps down only to be replaced by another understated super success.

Not saying Moyes won't do great, but IMO there's a big difference between scrapping and building a team from sparer parts to compete for 5-9 place. To trying to build and manage a team full of superstars and their egos into a European juggernaut. Maybe his skills will translate maybe they wont

I agree with this but ...

... I can see this holding true as well. Only time will tell so let's just not jump to any conclusions now.

I am happy that SAF is gone now because that might mean there's a chance to knock Man U off their perch. :giddy:

As we all know, there's a lot more to it than coaching. Transfers will need to want to come play for him. He will need the board's full blessing and respect.. Only time will tell if this will work.

Seeing as how you are one of the only MUFC supporters that posts here regularly, I would've enjoyed talking to you intelligently about the managerial change...but then I read your contributions to this thread and realized that was impossible. The picture gallery was cute though.

I could actually see this scenario coming to fruition as well, I just think the alternative is more likely.

if you read the thread my post all add to the discussion but you wishful thinking of Man United hitting a run of trophy less years is just that wishful thinking.

Even Liverpool down in the dumps was able to win the league cup.
