Rest look pretty good to me. I might consider Stevie over Viera too. My somewhat "homer" pick would be Terry over Nesta as I don't think, after Maldini, there is a huge gap between top center backs.

I know Cruyff played before my time, but I have watched enough of his games on replay to be able to include him.

Schmeichel

Puyol Hierro Maldini

Xavi Scholes

Maradona Zidane C.Ron

Messi O Fenomeno

illogical, but would be hellatiously exciting. they'd simply have to score one more than the opponent.

Here's mine. Just going with a 4-4-2 for simplicity.

--------------------Kahn---------------------

Thuram----------Cannavaro------------Nesta------------Roberto Carlos

Figo------------Zidane---------------Xavi--------------Cristiano Ronaldo

---------------Ronaldo-------------Messi

I could have just as easily put Giggs or Nedved on the left side of midfield, but I just had to get C-Ron in the team.

Maicon is one of the most overrated players of the last decade.

Well he didn't play in the Bundesliga and he's not a German, Turk, or Pole so it's no surprise you don't rate him. I would actually change that pick to Roberto Carlos though upon further thought.

Maldini vs. Roberto Carlos at left back in the history of the game is a worthless argument. They are equally as good. I just prefer RC. Paul Breitner and Bixente Lizarazu are also all-time greats there.

Not sure what that has to do with anything? What would your XI be?

Kahn

Lahm - Nesta - Puyol - Maldini

Schweinsteiger - Vieira

Zidane -- Messi -- C. Ron

Ronaldo

Really struggled with centerback, wanted to put Cannavaro, Staam, Vidic, Lucio, Desailly, among others.

Maldini and Lahm were pretty automatic for me.

Schweinsteiger is homer, but I don't care. I think he and Viera would have been a badass tandem.

In a couple of years, I think Ozil will be a part of my team but for now I cannot go against Zidane, Messi, and CRon.

The Brazilian Ronaldo is the best striker I've ever seen play. Automatic pick.
