Harder to score in soccer, so a goal means so much. But, man I love watching rugby. A great sport. I just don't know all the rules or why penalties are called.

I'm not completely sure what you're asking. If you're asking how the fans are during a match, soccer wins. The rugby crowd is much tamer. It's also much cheaper to go to a rugby match in the UK than it is to go to a soccer match.

well when I will be in Brussels and London, they have 0 soccer matches to attend, even friendlies. However, I can catch a rugby match apparently and how does it compare to live soccer overseas.

I still don't know what you're asking, especially as you've just said you won't be able to go to a soccer match, so your "vs" makes no sense.
If you're basing it on atmosphere, I answered that above.
My favorite sport is rugby. Not knowing (or caring about) the clubs involved, I'd go to a rugby match 10 out of 10 times.

It may not but I was drinking when this thread was created. The only soccer I could watch would be youth league U16 type of stuff in London.

Agreed. I tried to pay attention when I was in Ireland because it was on in every pub, but I just couldn't follow it at all. It was like they made up the roles as they went.

Rugby at its highest level is incredible. That's why most Americans are not getting the full impact of how great the sport of rugby is to watch. Few will watch New Zealand vs South Africa or the equivalent because of US bias. That's what should be played in the US for big time matches, not the US team as sacrificial lambs like at soldier field.

It's not a bias. We just play different sports here. So we follow those sports. Bias kind of implies a prejudice or unfairness.
