Dandy, honest question, why does Real even want Bale?
1. Because they can.
2. Should sell alot of shirts.
3. Merchandising of other products and cut on his advertising and marketing revenue.
4. RM farts in the general direction of FFP.
5. Super Euro League is a comin´.

The great thing about this is the drama that every free kick will create. Does Bale or Ronaldo take it? Or Ozil, because he has shown an aptitude to hit the back of the net too.

Ozil won't fight to take it though. He'll just write some poetry about it or something

Özil is loved dearly in Madrid, may he never leave (probably won´t, RM is the club of his dreams)

It would probably be a modern masterpiece too. Everything he touches turns to gold.

It pains me to see him go, but we should also see a couple of nice signings with the transfer fee that Madrid will be handing over.

Thank fricking God. He's too good. Get him out now.

He made a gigantic leap this year. I thought he was incredibly overrated before this year but he's killing it now

I did too. I tend to think a lot of players are over hyped though. This year he is easily in the top 5 best players in the EPL though.

I would say top two. Bale and RVP look to be the cream of the crop.

You could start to see that talent really blossom last year when Harry let him play more centrally... He was kinda being wasted as a touchline winger whipping in crosses...
Also, in the past, he seemed to always miss a bunch if games with injury... seems to have gotten over that

May be my red colored glasses, but Suarez is easily in that conversation...

I would have Suarez third. One of my friends think he is right there, while I think he is half a step behind them.

A lot of people are starting to link Bayern to putting in a big bid for Bale. If Spurs can get a CL spot and Bayern offers a large sum + Arjen Robben, it might be enough.

Bale was incredibly overrated until this year. Even now, Theo Walcott has comparable numbers, and would elicit a far lower transfer fee. I think a big thing is that Bale scores some incredible goals whereas Walcott is more tidy, less sexy finisher.
Sorry for massive image. These numbers are from a week ago so they don't include Bale's two goals this week.

Oh yeah, I agree. Walcott is having his best year so far too. Both guys were just wingers but have also shown that they can play a more central role which makes them more valuable.

I'd have Suarez up there with RVP with Bale in third... Granted Bale is red hot at this moment... I agree Walcott is having a hell of a season too...
