Walcott is better than Bale. Bale is just a scorer of great goals, which gives him more face-time with the general public.

Both are having fantastic, break-out seasons. I've watched Bale a good amount this season and he just doesn't do it for me. He's good, but I wouldn't put him in the top 5 players in the league.

RM fandom as in you as a fan want to see that happen or that's the opinion of other RM fans?

okay, that's what i figured.
will be an interesting summer transfer window for sure with pep coming to bayern, RM struggling and man city looking unlikely to win anything more than the FA cup. couple big spenders likely in the market for major talent.

Does he have some impressive discretionary budget at his disposal?

Wasn´t the Javi deal a big one for the Jew club usurpers?

Well it's all rumor, but apparently he'll have 100mm to spend this offseason. I've also heard he'll have 275mm for the duration of his contract. Both are exorbitant sums and with the amount of ego in the board room I cannot imagine they would let him pick Out players without some sort of deliberation. We will see... Yes, javi was the record signing in the bundesliga. Previously it was Mario Gomez. Javi has already began to show returns on investment, he's the last bundesliga player to be undefeated and also has the highest won challenge % in the league. The midfield is much calmer when he's on the field. He stills gets quite confused from time to time due to still adjusting to the language barrier, but he's been working very hard on it and sometimes gives answers in German during interviews. I think that by this time next year and certainly the season after that Bayern should really be firing on all cylinders.

Well, to be fair, they really only said to sell Higuain.

I agree. Even when Benzema sucks, his movement opens things up for others

i'm just curious who RM could get to be their striker to replace benzema. there are obviously better strikers, but how many will be available? llorente is probably going to juve

they could try to get one of man city's excess guys like tevez, but i doubt it for about 100 reasons

will they go after falcao?

i dont know what their interest level would be, but proven striker mario gomez will more than likely be for sale this summer with a list of about 3 or 4 possible destinations.

Benzema is much better than Higuain.

They could go after virtually any striker in the world. I'm sure Cavani, Falcao and Suarez are atop their list. Those are the 3 best strikers in the world not named van Persie.

Zlatan? Not that Real Madrid would get Zlatan, but I put up there amongst the top strikers.

I think Madrid stays with Benzema.

Eh, yea I guess. I forget he exists nowadays. Although he's been very disappointing in the CL.

Benzema to Gomez would be a lateral move IMO

Gomez is a much better finisher than any striker Real has. He would score a lot of goals playing with Ozil and Ronaldo. Just don't expect him to be a super well rounded player. He scores goals, that's about it.
