I also wonder about a guy like Chicharito. He would score frick-tons of goals at a club like Madrid.

So, who do you figure is on their way out of RM?

does a move for Bale mean Di Maria can go?

Higuain or Benzema? or both?

Hearing Xabi may be sold too...

I wonder how much money it would take for United to part with Chicharito. Although he's a rotation striker (mostly a super sub), he makes the club a ridiculous amount of money and influence in Latin America.

RM is probably talking to Agüero through covert channels. I really don´t know if he´s a colchonero through and through (for example, I know DeGea would probably never go to Chamartín).

Definitely Higuain I'd imagine. Di Maria too if they get Bale.

Maybe Xabi. He's already stated he won't sign a new contract at RM. His current deal ends in 2014 and Madrid may try to cash in on him of they can.

Buying and promoting strikers like United has recently will force Fergie to sell one this offseason. Selling Chicharito seems like the obvious answer to this conundrum, as he is the least versatile forward and has his time cut the most with the much more complete player in Van Persie in form. However, I could also see Rooney's ego getting damaged, if it's not already, and requesting a transfer; likely to the Bernabeu.

Maybe they keep him, and move Cristianito to striker, with DiMaria and Bale on each side, and Özil behind them in a sort of rhombus.

If Rooney would swallow his pride and commit to playing that CAM role in the 4-2-3-1 we've been using a good bit, he'd be set.

Cashing in on Chicharito seems likely at some point. He's a 20+ goal/season player. £15m sounds about right depending on his contract status.

I've always wondered if that was a possibility.

i've often wondered if he could do it. i'm positive he could, but he loves to play on the wing to give him space to run and dribble

If Spain can play Fábregas, and the fricker scores, headers at that, then anything is possible.

I thought he played there for United from time to time...

Jovetic would also be a good move for RM...

If it was my money, I'd spend it on James Rodriguez over Bale...

He did, but that was SAF being SAF

He has played there for Real Madrid, too, but that was out of necessity

I'd like to see what he could do outside of being the lone star at Fiorentina. He has the tools to be world class, but I don't know if he's got what it takes to take off in Spain or England or Germany.
