I haven't watched the Ukrainian league in a couple years. I worked with a guy from the Ukraine and he told me more useless Ukrainian shite than I care to know (hence my bias towards them in this thread). I also watched my fair share of illegal Ukrainian streams.
Agreed 100% on Ligue 1.

Dynamo Kiev has always been the king I believe.
Since the league started in the early 90s with Ukraine's independence, Kiev has won it about twice as much as Shaktar but they've always been pretty good.
They were decent historically in the Russian League but, yes, Kiev was much more the power until the Ukrainian League was founded.

Ligue 1 is probably the number 1 feeder league for the big leagues right now.
What about La Liga? Not a feeder league per se, but aside from RM and FCB, the league has provided a ton of talent to other leagues in the past 5 or so years.

The Portuguese league is probably a better shout as a feeder league. FC Porto has provided half the players on every major team the past 10 years, and the other clubs in that league have done a fantastic job of scouring South America for talent.
La Liga isn't a feeder league per say, because many of its best players stay on their original professional clubs for awhile, David Villa, David Silva, Fernando Llorente etc.

A bit superlative here, if I am reading you correctly. Porto has sold some great players though. Portugal offers an easy transition to Europe for lots of South Americans, which is why the league has such an advantage.
France does the same for many Africans, though the French develop talent better. I suppose you could call Lyon the Porto of France with the way they sign young players and sell them for hefty fees.

I'm obviously being hyperbolic, but if you look at their transfer history, the money they've made off of transfers is outstanding. Lyon did the same thing in the 2000s, but I don't recall any big money sales from Lyon lately.

There are also many doing the opposite.

I agree with this for Europe with the exception of Ligue 1 which I think probably has a lot more depth than the others in that tier?
Yeah, I have France solidly as fifth and ahead of the rest of the tier, but I was just trying to recap what was said in this thread to my best. Maybe I misinterpreted some earlier posts.
Dandy, my tiers were not really ordered, so if it makes you feel better, then Spain can be #1.
