I like Jones more than Bradley right now, and Holden too if he's healthy.

We moved the ball much better through the midfield in the second half last night, and it primarily had to do with Jones being inserted into the midfield.

Jones will be 32 by then. I'm not sure I want 32 year old legs in the middle.

Donovan may not be such a shoo-in either, or Dempsey. We'll have to see. It's waaaay too early, to be fair

That's why my post says "right now." Looking back it's not that evident. I should have said;

"I'm not sure what it will be in 2014, but if everyone is healthy for right now our best line up is."

I would agree with that, then.

Our CM talent is as follows (today, if healthy)

1) Holden
2) Jones
3) Bradley
4) Edu
5) Mix
6) Torres

I feel like I'm missing someone, and my brain is sort of scrambled, so feel free to insert whomever (if anyone) I forgot

You don't know if guys like Renken, Lletget, Gyau, Gil, Kitchen, etc. will have broken in by this time.

Any chance that wunderkind makes the team?

I disagree with both. Bradley literally seems like he's everywhere because he covers a lot of ground.

Agudelo, Altidore

Donovan,Bradley, Holden Dempsey

Bornstein, Opara, Ream, Chandler

Howard

And yes my opinion does seem to magically mirror that of the ESPN Insider article posted today

I wanted to read that, but am too cheap for insider. You or anyone care to summarize?

That would be disappointing. Lichaj is already better, IMO.

This is a very good lineup (not sure yet about the defense), and I love our midfield and strikers if we go 4-4-2. I feel the defense has way too many possibilities to accurately guess, but I am excited about Chandler for sure. I think it will be Landy's team in 2014, but he will be at or maybe beyond his peak when Brazil rolls around. This is a team that could realistically go to the quarters with top 10 talent in the world, if things pan out. On another note, where does CD9 fit into the equation?

Eh. Maybe. He's a great athlete. But he can't get ahead of Jason Hernandez or Brandon McDonald right now.

If he breaks into the Bayern rotation then yeah, definitely.

FYI: For anyone that is an ESPN insider (not me) they just put a 2014 roster projection.

He is the only one starting and flourishing in a major league. His injury really hurts Boltons chance in the FA Cup. He is much better than Donovan at set pieces as well. In fact, it isn't even close.
