The Manchester United youngster saw his loan spell in Germany cut short at the start of January after failing to start a single Bundesliga game in his spell, making a just handful of unimpressive substitute appearances.
Speaking to ?FourFourTwo for their March issue, Tuchel said: “A part of him was always still in Manchester and we just couldn’t help him cut this umbilical cord. He didn’t wholly embrace Borussia. He always compared everything with how it had been at United."

When they were on their game they were unplayable. I wish they would have won it all. They have the best atmosphere in all of professional sports, have a decent history and holy shite so much fun to watch. Even when they destroyed Arsenal that one match I just had to say... Yep, you kicked our fricking arse tonight.
Klopp has nothing close to that squad, in terms of talent or even work rate right now.

I'm still sad he's gone, but Tuchel is starting to build something I think. it'll be tough to see Auba and Ilky possibly both leave after the summer.

I agree with everything here except one line...
BVB were a truly super-good team watching that video...in contrast, that Bayern team that got to the final in 2012 was extremely flawed looking back. I've been re-watching some of those matches with Olic, Gomez' last good year, and a slow, aging Van Buyten in the back. They got past Real thanks to Sergio Ramos' moonshot in PK's but fell to an inferior Chelsea squad which Drogba bailed out late.
(Strong connection between 2011 LSU BCS loss in the dome and 2012 Bayern CL final loss at home for me...big part of why I started following FCB)
Even the two 2012-13 FCB/BVB matches were entertaining, despite Rafinha's uncalled-for elbow and red card.
Even today, Dortmund is the team I love to hate, but not a team I don't respect.
I've said it before...it's better for Bayern and the Bundesliga if Borussia Dortmund is competitive.

He was interviewed a few weeks into the season and said that if he left dortmund it would be for Spain and not England. I'm sure money could always change that but seemed to think he'd be a better fit.

Barcelona's interest in Aubameyang is perplexing. It would be an awful career move for him to sit on the bench behind the MSN, similar in nature to Fabregas' move in 2011. He would play, but he wouldn't be a first choice starter barring injury to Suarez or Neymar.
Real Madrid would be an interesting fit for him, especially if Perez gets bored with Benzema's incredibly steady production. Then again, Perez buys attacking players like a coked-out day trader.
