I'm not sure what I think about it. I guess if I knew more about what gets you a white card than "play acting" and "on-field criticism" then I could form a better opinion.
What says you, fellow SB'ers?

Not a fan. There's already a sufficient punishment in the yellow card. Would just lead to more rulemaking and controversy.

I'm ok with it if it replaces yellow cards.

Not a terrible idea.
The purists will hate this, but I think there should be some kind of quick replay system for every yellow or red card given. Too many games are affected by a yellow or red that results in a player being sent off wrongly.

The problem with this is that most cards are opinion-based calls, unlike replayable moments in other sports.

True but there are also plenty of cases in which a call is clearly wrong, like the yellow against Fabregas today.

That doesn't stop the rest of us from forming opinions after we see the replays. I think the majority of the time, most people have the same opinion as well.

Exactly. If replay shows that a card given was clearly a bad call, why not have the ability to overturn it? If it's not clear, the call stands. It's easy stuff.
