Short story:
Mbappe is leaving for €180M
Lemar is leaving for €70M
Fabinho is leaving for €50M
Tielemans is taking number 10
Ronaldo is taking number 7

Long story:
Dmitry Rybolovlev, Alexey Fedorichev and Jorge Mendes have very close business ties in various sectors, but i'll only talk about football, they have several investment fonds in various tax paradise countries and they have stakes in many known and unknow players, it's a complicated system, so to keep it short let's just say players are like commodities for them and there aren't many emotions involved, it's all just purly business...

Alexey Fedorichev is the owner of Fedcomivest, our main sponsor, he's the one who introduced Rybolovlev to Willy De Bruyn (director of SBM 2011-2015) and after that Willy introduced Rybo to Prince Albert II, short after that Rybo got 66% of the club for €1 if he invest at least €100M during the first 4 years...Fedorichev was the owner of Dynamo Moscow and Rostov, during those periods he became friend with Jorge Mendes and he brought many portuguese players to his russian clubs, at one point he even wanted to buy Monaco, but he was denied because of his shady past, so he just remained sponsor with his Fedcom company, it's already 20 years how his company is involved with Monaco...

Fedorichev was also the one who introduced Rybolovlev to Mendes, without him we would never be able to get Falcao, James and Moutinho, and they were essential in putting Monaco back on the world's football map...as i said, the friendship between Rybo, Fedorichev and Mendes is so strong that they became involved in many business dealings, many of them are outside of football, like real estate and other stuff...

Vadim Vasilyev worked in the past for Rybolovlev (Uralkali) and Fedorichev (Fedcom), then he had his own company with several different businesses, from trading commodities to restaurants, but he remained very good friend with both Rybo and Fedorichev...he never really wanted to be involved with football, but Rybo conviced him to come to the club as his special counsel, because our commercial and marketing departments were disastrous, and then slowly but surely, Vadim became so addicted to football and he accepted to become our sporting director, following later with his vice president and CEO title...Vadim also became very good friend with Mendes and they have very tight bond, it's important to put things in the proper context, people always tend to blame Mendes when some of his players leave the club, like he's forcing them to do so, but in reality Rybo and Vadim always said to any player that if they want to leave and if the right offer is on the table, they will sell them, because there's no point of keeping someone who wants to leave for bigger salary or to play in some different league...

Now let's talk about present, Mbappe is perfectly OK with staying one more year in Monaco, but the club wants to sell him now while the hype around him is so incredibly high (€180M), Fabinho has gentlemen's agreement to leave the club if the right offer is on the table (€50M), Lemar can also leave if someone is willing to pay the right price (€70M)...the chances of all three of them leaving are incredibly high, so don't be too sad, it's all business...on the other hand, club is working very hard to bring Cristiano Ronaldo, ever since we came back from the Ligue 2, Rybo wanted to buy Ronaldo, during these 4 yars of good friendship with Mendes, both Rybo and Vadim became extremely good friends with Ronaldo, they had countless meetings in the past and present with him and they discussed many times about brnging him to Monaco...there were many obstacles on the way, from Financial Fair Play to Ronaldo's desire to break all Real Madrid records, but now it's finally the perfect time to get him, especially after being accused by the spanish authorities for tax fraud, the wheels are set in motion and the dream will become the reality...

Ronaldo can't leave Madrid before double-leg supercup games against Barcelona (August 13 and August 16) because of various sponsor commitments, so for the next 7-10 days there won't be any movement, but after that Monaco and Real Madrid will enter the concrete negotiations surrounding Ronaldo and Mbappe, things got a little more complicated with PSG and Neymar, because before that transfer happened, Ronaldo had gentlemen's agreement to leave Real for around €180M (his buy-out clause is one billion euros, but Jorge Mendes and Florentino Perez have verbal agreement that Cristiano can leave for around five times less)...now that Neymar was sold for €222M, it means that Ronaldo will cost more, simply because he wants to be the most expensive player in the history, it's important for image and hype, so he's price is around €230M, in other words Monaco will have to add €50M to Mbappe (€180M) to buy Ronaldo, they will do it, it's a done deal...Ronaldo's current salary is €21M after taxes, Messi has €25M after taxes and Neymar has €30M after taxes, so Cristiano will get something between €30M and €35M per year (no taxes in Monaco) and he'll sign 4-year or 5-year contract, so he'll be 36 or 37 when his contract ends, those things still needs to be agreed on, but the most important thing is that Ronaldo gave the green light to Rybo and Vadim almost one month ago, that's why they immediatelly took away number 7 from Rony Lopes and they said to all current and new players that number 7 is already reserved for someone special, but only Falcao and Moutinho know that Ronaldo is coming, plus of course Jardim knows that Cristiano is soon to be monegasque. everybody else are pretty much in the dark, and that's why there aren't rumors going around about Ronaldo and Monaco, but very soon that will change and you will hear more and more about that...the whole transfer will take some time because of many things, Mbappe already has verbal agreement with Real, but he also has good offers from City and PSG, even if he doesn't go to Madrid, his price is still €180M, maybe even the whole €200M if PSG is determined to buy him and he decides to go there...in that case, we would still buy Ronaldo for €230M, and Real would buy Hazard or Dybala to replace him, but right now the most likely scenario is that Mbappe is going to Real, and that Monaco will add €50M to that transfer, so that Ronaldo can become the most expensive player in the world...

That's the whole story, i know that many won't believe me, but please be patient and have faith in Rybo and Vadim, this Ronaldo transfer was planned for eyars in advance and now it's the perfect timing to get him, Mbappe is the main tool to get enough money so we can afford Ronaldo, if there aren't Financial Fair Play rules, then Rybo would buy Ronaldo with his own money, he always wanted him because only someone like Cristiano can lift our brand so that our club can attract bigger sponsors and more fans both in France and around the world...Ronaldo wanted to remain in Real in the previous 4 years, but now he decided to leave and Monaco was prefered choise, because he has tight relationship with Rybo and Vadim, plus he wants to live in Monaco full time and he has some business ventures that are perfect fit for the principality...Fabinho will leave if United or City offer €50M, there are chances that Juventus can offer that if they sell Dybala, there is also option with Atletico if he's willing to wait, and when it comes to PSG, they would have to offer much more if they want to convice Vadim to sell Fabinho to them...Lemar can leave if someone offers at least €70M, right now Arsenal wants him the most, but so far they aren't willing to pay that much, maybe if they offer Sanchez they can get Lemar, but so far they don't want to do that, things can change in the next three weeks, Barcelona is also very keen to get Lemar, but no concrete offer has been made...all in all, Mbappe is leaving 100%, his number 10 is already promised to Tielemans, on the other hand chances of Fabinho and Lemar leaving are extremely high, probably around 90%...but don't get too depressed, Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to Monaco 100% and the whole world will be in shock when only weeks after PSG and Neymar broke the transfer record, Monaco and Cristiano broke their record and the new number 7 of Monaco will become the king of the principality...

So much for building a cheap/talented Ligue 1 ultimate team on FIFA 18. Ronaldo and Neymar means bundesliga squads are in my future

Point of order:

If Neymar was worth 222 Million (units of currency), shouldn't Cristiano Ronaldo--4 time Ballon d'Or winner(5 time runner up)--be worth at least 350 Million (units of currency)? Neymar wasn't even the best player on his team. He may not have been even in the top 3 on his team.

Just askin...

Well Neymar is 25-years-old and has his best years in front of him while Ronaldo is on the wrong side of 30.

GOATnaldo hasn't slowed down yet, but a regression could happen soon. Neymar is much more an investment for the next possible decade, while Ronaldo probably won't be able to play at a top level for more than the next five years.....IF that.

If a 32 year old goes for 200+ million it's officially the end of the world as we know it.

If all this is true it is the only reason he would go to Monaco. He certainly won't be there to actually compete for UCL titles.....I mean Monaco offloaded a good bit of talent already and I imagine if Mbappe stays at Monaco and doesn't end up at RM no way RM let Ronaldo go (if they can help it).

I mean maybe competing for Ligue 1 is enough for Ronaldo at this point (couple with the perks you mentioned).

Anywho I still think that any way that RM can get Mbappe is good business at this point.

I believe in the first post the OP says that for it all to happen then M'Bappe would leave for RM.

That, Monaco is a tax haven and he's already been accused of tax shite in Spain.

True true.

ETA Although even though the tax people are saying that Ronaldo's situation is so much worse than Messi's I'm sure they could work something out....although that would mean that Ronaldo may have to admit to something that he either didn't do or doesn't want to admit to.....although one thing to think about for him here is will running (essentially) make this any better? I'd say no...in fact it probably will make it worse for him. I'm wondering if he is truly listening to his lawyers.
