Clear offsides on winning corner, VAR gives win to Man City

They're lucky this wasn't in Austin

Tim Howard says it’s ok but a Robbie says should have been disallowed. Silva bodied Sa from an offside position when the ball was in the air. To me that is interference from offside position should have been disallowed.

The wolves have been very adamant about getting rid of VAR. That’s what this call was about.

It’s not like this is some sort of new rule. The guy was offsides. He was in front of a goalkeeper. I’ve seen goals disallowed all the time for this. In fact, the wolves had a goal disallowed last year for something far less egregious and yet there just appears to be different rules for different teams. It’s head scratching and VR is the vehicle behind this madness.

City are toast after the fa finally buried them, this is gifts to city owners for all of the payments and briefcases. That hot them thru. Fair play rules this long.

He pushed against him while the ball was in the air from the corner kick. He disengaged and moved out of Sa’s line of sight prior to the header from Stones. If you look at the tape from the moment Stones heads the ball, Silva doesn’t interfere with Sa from a physical standpoint or line-of-sight standpoint.

Should have been a foul when city fouled the Wolves player, outside the box, before the buildup to that corner.

It should have been interference he bodied him up until the moment the ball was headed.

There’s a lot more money in City competing for the title than in Wolves staying in the Premier League

And I say that as a Wolves fan… did they really deserve any call in that situation? And not watching, just because City bodies the GK from an offside position when the ball was in the air doesn’t mean he was in an offside position when the ball was kicked. That’s what matters

You can't be offsides when the corner is taken, as in, a player is never offsides when the corner is taken.

Wolves deserve to be relegated if they don’t know that

Haven't seen the vid, but how can you be offside on a corner?

Nevermind, I just read about it. Offside during the header off the corner, not the corner itself.

Carry on.
