Ref missed two PK penalties late, but Spain just looked lost offensively. Zero goals in these two games.
If you need the ref's help against Honduras then you have issues.

Spain no doubt acted like bitches. I hate surrounding the ref (and yeah I know Arsenal do it all the time too!) but they took it beyond that. Still, it felt like a WWE match. Spain got boned hard. Way harder than Arsenal v. Barcelona or Chelsea v. Barcelona or [INSERT YOUR FAVORITE TEAM'S SKETCHIEST LOSS].
I definitely wanted to see Spain out, but Honduras fricking embarrassed themselves out there. I can't be happy about that. I hope they get pummeled.

I'm happy with Spain's loss, but they got screwed at the end. And Hondurans gonna Honduran (flopping, rolling around). I'm with FOBUD.

Spain had two clear penalties not called. Honduras pulled the typical Central American time wasting bullshite by faking injuries (including Bengston needing a fricking stretcher for a "cramp"), dove like Greg Louganis, and generally acted a fool.
It was bad, real bad. Spain's reaction was equally horrendous. They had the right to be livid with the official, but displayed their dismay in an unceremonious, classless display of emotion.

Refs were bad but idk why that's Honduras' fault, I missed the middle 45 mins but all the flopping I saw was when Spain was bull rushing the ball with reckless abandon and bumping into the ref multiple times like a fricking idiot. I salute the banana nation of Honduras for winning.

There is no question, especially at the end, that Honduras got away with a foul in the box but it wasn't even in the same universe of screwjobs as that received by Chelsea and the call against RVP was 1000x worse than anything that happened today.

felt bad for spain because they got screwed so hard but it was kind of enjoyable to watch them melt down having to deal with the shite USMNT usually deals with all the time. The diving, no calls, writhing around, time wasting.

Your point would make sense if we all liked Spain.
But they got screwed at the end, even those who hate Spain can admit that.
It's called making objective statements, a skill that you're not good at.
