Playing time in Holland with a first team would be better for long term development. I can't blame him for shooting for the stars. He is obviously really talented.

Nah. RM´s Valdebebas is state of the art, and the coaching and mentoring is superb. They are an impatient lot however, for sure.
I think Atleti is up there with the four you´ve mentioned (I don´t know if Arsenal is of that calibre).

I just don't see how this is good for him other than money... I agree with whoever said a move to Ajax, would probably be best for him... he could stay there for 4-5 years and still go to Madrid at 20-21...
