Solid win - needed to get back on the winning path.
Also cause Mansfield Town is sitting in and will push for playoff contention.
And even though they lost to Harrogate mid week, I’m taking it as a positive. The goal is promotion, not a run through the FA Cup.
Not having to worry about a cup run and already being a game ahead could provide much needed rest later in the season.

Trying to win silverware while trying to climb the English pyramid is dumb. Too many games for your players, but sp cially while in some of the dog days, 46 total league games cluster fark.
Esp cially in some of the lower leagues where u have elder players and guys who need rest.

The game on Tuesday will be the first one they play above the absolute minimum they could play. They lost their first game in the other two tournaments. If they lose Tuesday, they will have effectively done just what you said. They played back ups in most of the group games and still won their group.
