The former Yugoslav countries have impressive sports academies. They've produced great basketball players, and compete well in various olympic disciplines.

I would go with a diamond, and really outside of Matic it's a bit interchangeable. All could play as the 10, all could play deeper.
Need attacking fullbacks for width, and those are pretty good ones.
When healthy I'd go with Jovetic as one of the strikers because he adds something a little different than a Mandzukic or Dzeko. Either Mandzukic or Dzeko as the other striker would be fine.
A pretty legit team.

Ivanovic is better than any defender on that list.
To answer the question though on paper they would be a top 4-5 team in the world imo.

If one of them is Shevchenko in his prime, they would. He basically single-handedly got Ukraine into the 2006 WC.
