I mean, Spurs already went an entire summer without signing a player, why not do the same for a manager?

Ali Gold’s (Tier 1 Spurs source) last Q&A had Nuno, Potter, & Steven Gerrard

I actually wouldn’t be opposed to Gerrard even if the obvious end goal is Liverpool. I don’t see them ditching Klopp anytime soon and imo Gerrard has to prove himself in the PL for Pool to consider him. They don’t want a Lampard 2.0 on their hands

Nuno is looking to be the front runner.

Paratici has wanted him all along

I'm not as down on Nuno as most are. I'm not buying he was the guy all along either. He did good things for Wolves although I'm not sure why he left. Maybe I'm not as down on him because I don't know that much about him.

I honestly don’t get why so many on Reddit are against him. I always liked how his wolves teams played. Thought they over achieved the first 2 years. Think he will actually do pretty good here.

He scored 51 goals with Jota, Traore, & Jiminez as a front 3 in 2019-20. We are literally sacking Mourinho to replace him with a worse version. A defensive minded coach that gave up 52 goals in 2020-21 season. 6 more than the coach we just fired. This is a cheap, lazy, comfortable hire. We should have just backed Jose with 2 CB's if this was gonna be the move.

All of that tbh. I’m quickly approaching the point of not caring anymore. Such an underwhelming hire, and the complete opposite of what the cünt Levy said he was looking for, in terms of style of play.

Agree here. This guy has absolutely no idea what he is doing anymore. It's truly astonishing how lost he is. If he had any integrity he would step away for awhile.

Agreed. I don't have anything against Nuno, but I have lost all enthusiasm for this team over the past 2 months. I honestly wish they would sell Kane for whatever they could get this summer. He doesn't deserve this level of incompetence after putting in 16 years at the club.

This is the part about Nuno that worries me. Direct quote from him on his approach.
quote:

How can you be in charge of the game?’ I think, but maybe I am the only one, that the defensive process can take care of the game. Why is that? Because teams wait to defend. If you create something where you go to defend, to steal the ball where you want, it’s different. A defensive process, yes, but you go for it.

Nuno is apparently off now, going to be announced as the new Fenerbahçe manager. This is comical.

I never bought the Nuno stuff from when I first heard about it

I called Gerrard a few days ago and I'm sticking to it

How long until the fans start to storm the stadium demanding change? I might fly over and join them. This is comical at this point.

Probably not.
Him and Eddie Howe never got much of a shout during this clown show for some reason.

Yep, I can do nothing but laugh at the sheer ineptitude of Levy. Although, maybe some of it is from managers calling his bluff that he’d spend £ to rebuild the club.

I’m convinced more than ever now that it’s going to be Martinez, and will be announced when Belgium get bounced from the euros.

Welp, looks like it’s actually official now. Can’t say that I’m particularly excited about the appointment. But at least the dumpster fire of a manager search is over.
