I love Poch but I think you’re right it’s probably too soon.

Conte and an actual director of football gets me excited. He has to have some understanding of the situation here and the real possibility Kane is gone. But at least he could buy his players with that money

Bringing Poch back now would be a big mistake IMO. The squad is essentially the same from when he left. I'd love to have him back one day, but it Just doesn't feel right at the moment.

I have some concerns about Conte, but he is a world class manager and the best option available at this time.

I'm was a bit scared off of his record of moving around, but if we're being realtic managers have extremely short cycles in football. Out of the 20 teams in the EPL only 3 have had the same manager for the past 5 years(Klopp, Pep, & Dyche??).

I'm looking forward to Conte's passion on the sideline and intense approach/man management.

We are getting Conte boys!!!! I’m pumped.

Immediately needs to start fighting some of soft players in the parking lot.

This is what I’d like to see if we are keeping Kane:

1. Sell Winks, Dier, Sissoko, Aurier, Sanchez, Lamala, Lucas
2. Move to a back 3.
3. Sign a back up young GK, Starting CB, 2nd promising CB, Starting RWB, Legit Midfielder, Backup Striker
4. Assuming Bale goes back to Real. If not then he rotates with Son

GK - Hugo, Young Backup
CB - New Starter, Toby, Rodon, New Young CB, Tanganga, Davies
LWB - Reggie, Sess, (Davies)
RWB - Top Tier Player, Doherty, (Tang)
DMD - PEH, Skipp
B2B - New Guy, Lo Celso
AMD - Ndombele, Dele
Striker - Kane, Young Buck
Rover - Son, Stevie, (Dele), {Bale}

While we’re waiting to finalize Conte...

Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano The agreement between former Juventus director Fabio Paratici and Tottenham to become the new director of football is set to be completed. ?????? #THFC Last details pending then Paratici will be joining Spurs regardless of Antonio Conte's final decision about Tottenham job.

Lol Conte is off the table now. At least we are consistent at being a joke.

I’m guessing the demands included SPENDING SOME frickING MONEY!

ETA: Apparently one of the demands is "to win as soon as possible." Levy ain't having none of that.

The whole thing makes no sense. Everyone knows how conte operates and how stingy we are. Did they not talk about transfers until today?

At least we got a DoF I guess.

I think him and Nuno both want to bring enormous backroom teams with them wherever they go

Absolute joke of a club. I wish I knew “the history of the Tottenham” before they got their claws in me.

Same here man. I could never pull for another club, but at this point I might celebrate him leaving more than a trophy if it ever happened.

He makes the club worse, it really is as simple as that. I didn't even necessarily want Conte, but everyone knew that hiring Conte meant spending big. How do we spend a full week in negotiations if that was never gonna happen? Absolute shambles.

Exactly. Why even approach Conte if you’re Levy? You know what he will demand of a club, and to no ones surprise Levy isn’t willing to commit to being a big club. I think most Spurs fans expected a graham potter type of hire anyway, and instead he goes after Conte and fails, pissing everyone off even more after raising expectations. It really doesn’t make sense. I’ve seen theories being floated around on Twitter about how apparently Tottenham’s season ticket window was closing and the Pochettino/Conte attempts were being used as a way to increase interest. Normally I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but I wouldn’t put that past Levy.

All of this just underlines the fact that he didn’t have a plan, or a fricking clue, as to what he was going to do after firing mourinho a week before the league final.

It’s almost like he’s doing this so he can shrug his shoulders and say, I tried to bring Poch back and we went after Conte but they both said no, that’s why we have ShrevetownTiger as the skipper of our club.

Clown show. Levy has to go. He’s turned into a disaster.

I admittedly usually have Levy's back (I like the slow growth and sustainability of the club as opposed to possible volatility and/or glory), but this new manager search has been a shitshow.

I was expecting a decision shortly after the season, for it to drag on this long is ridiculous.
