I like it I like it. I just think we're missing a creative spark. Firmino is trying and playing super well. Just need more from Milner and ibe on the outsides. I think that's the main thing that separates us from old klopp teams. His wingers were always guys that were confident in taking on people and taking long shots. I'm super impressed about what he's been able to do with the squad at hand though and I'm excited to see the players he's going to bring in.

I think ibe has potential to be one of those players but he's maybe 2-3 years off

I wish we would have put like 1 of those 11 shots on target.

Does Can speak English predominantly? Looked like after he hit it to the keep there he said "Why does that happen every time!?"

Can is cut from the same thread as Mascherano.
Will literally run down and crush anyone, no matter what it takes.

Sterling-Esque!

Sterling would have blasted that into the stands. Not comparable

I just watched the recorded Chelsea game from the weekend. Unfortunately I already knew the score, but damn!!! Coutinho! We are playing some exciting ball. I have a crush on Jurgen Klopp

How quickly you forget.
Sterling 1 touch finish goes into the stands, his finishes on the run go straight into the keeper with little force.

I thought it was a pretty good performance today - Rubin really sat back until the goal, but we dominated possession and really they had zero counter threats at all until we scored. We were working the ball well, didn't settle for too many long long shots that didn't have a hope, and were clearly in control.
The goal was nice - finally separated their centerbacks and Ibe got the lay-off and burst into space for the goal. Nice shot off the inside of the post.
My one and only real complaint would be, as soon as they came out from their defensive shell, we should have put the game away. We had several chances to do it, but never capitalized. Didn't end up hurting us, but Sakho had to make two nice tackles in the box to shut down some threatening situations.
Really everyone played pretty well - stand-outs to me were Ibe, Clyne, Bentenke, Firmino and Sakho. May even add Moreno. I thought Lovren was fine - was in the right place when he needed to be, but he wasn't really put under pressure so I would hardly use this game as a barometer for him. But probably a slight confidence builder for him.

I love that Klopp.
How could you not want to play for this guy.
