Well they could have sat back and we still shat the bed in terms of controlling the ball.

We recognized that and we played well

By a mile, no... But they did absolutely nothing, bar the one goal...

We definitely deserved to be at least level

Seeing Sakho out there knowing he is our best defender, with some of the great balls he has played, makes me wonder what the hell was wrong with Rodgers. Thank god he signed that extension for some unknown reason at the time.

Bentenke immense when he came in. Assits to Cou. Goal for himself.

Defense recovered pretty well to space that opened up. I also thought our shot and pass blocking in the defensive third was great.

Awesome win. Coutinho was on, and Benteke changed the game. How great does it feel to have a manager with some tactical nous in big games

You know, it was great to see Bentenke head the ball down towards the box, and see TWO guys actually there to link up with it.

I mean, how many times have we seen zero link-up between our striker and any other attacker??

Pretty good start to my birthday. 3-1 win over Chelsea and 4-1 Gladbach win over Hertha Berlin.

Chelsea has conceded 22 goals in 11 PL games.

Even Brendan Rodgers would have won that match.

We'd have lost that match under Rodgers... He would have started a different squad and not made the right in match subs... The players had zero confidence... We weren't any better than Chelsea before..: and we couldn't score goals

We had only scored 9 goals in league play entering this game.
