And Lallana. and we loaned out Marko for whatever reason.

I think Brendan and FSG are in over their heads. I don't think any of them have a fricking clue.

There is no fricking way he makes it to December. You have to wonder what FSG is waiting for or if they are even paying attention since the beginning of last year. Maybe they are busy with the Red Sox............oh wait they suck too.

United were shite and they won easily. That should tell you the state of the club. No imagination, no plan, players playing out of position....the owl is laughing at Rodgers ineptness.

I think the root of the issue is Rodgers player evaluations... He is clueless

I think a manager with better tactical acumen could get some of these players playing at a higher standard. This muppet should be sacked for playing Lovren over Sakho......unreal.

Is there really validity to the notion that Brendan buys players he wants and the transfer committee buys players they want? That just doesn't seem like an effective system at all.

I think its widely known that Rodgers has "his" guys... Lovren, Lallana, Allen... now Benteke and Milner..

And those players get wayyyy more opportunities to play through their shite performances than the player the committee bought... Sakho, Moreno, Markovic, Balotelli, Ilori, etc...

Neither of those lists are complete, but you can see the pattern..

He apparently was given more control after the title run.. who knows...

He should not be allowed to hand pick any players... he sucks at it..

To be fair, if those are his guys and this a win or lose your job season, he's gonna go out his way... and that's his other big fault, his overinflated ego (which really just reared its head after the title run)

At this point I know it has to get worse before it can get better. I have accepted our fate. All I can do is hope that Klopp is a part of the masterplan.

So, some interesting stats I read this afternoon.

ZERO tackles for our back four during the second half.

Firmino - zero shots or chances created, 68% passing.

We started a forward at LM (didn't have to read that one, but its still depressing to me).

Just look at our starting 11 - 2 of the 11 were here more than 3 years ago.

Hell, 3 of the 11 were here 3 years ago. We look like a team that has no idea how to play together. Terrible passes, lots of uncertainty. Maybe some of that will get better, but I doubt it. There is zero cohesion between the lines - our midfield and defense in possesion are uncomfortable. Our forward has no one nearby to pass it to.

Rodgers tactics are embarrassing at best. We have 1 out of 10 halves of soccer where we have looked good, and that was more to do with Arsenals make-shift CB tandem being poor in possession than anything else. Most of the rest of the halves we have been poor.

1 goal that should have been called back and two magical moments. No real team goals.

And you don't get a pass for a rebuilding job when the one you did the year before was total @#$@.

frick I hope so, I mean honestly I've written this season off and we're not a month in... So I kinda almost hope that BR completely tanks from here until Christmas, gets axed and we get Klopp in for the January window.

Honestly the sad thing is I think we have some decent talent on this team (Benteke isn't a terrible striker if he's got service, but he's on a fricking island the way BR sets up shop; Cou has shown his worth; Studge is one of the better strikers in the PL when healthy... and I could name a few more) but BR just doesn't have a fricking clue

Also, did anyone read the article about Stevie staying if he'd gotten a chance to be an assistant and a player? WHY THE frick DID THAT NOT HAPPEN? (Not saying he'd be a good coach, but he'd still be in Merseyside and maybe he could help wrangle BR?)

After sleeping on it, I'm still firmly convinced he needs to go...

It will be somewhat of a conflicting couple of months... Obviously, I want us to do well... But part of me, if I'm honest, almost wants a collapse that will force FSGs hand... I hate admitting that, but I have just given up on him...

I think once we have Studge, Hendo and Coutinho back, our attack will look better... it almost has to, by default... That said, we'll prob see Studge on the wing... Cou as well and Hendo as a holding mid

In an effort to not be 100% negative... I do think Benteke has done relatively well, given our tactics and no service for him... Clyne too! He gave up the bad free kick to Young, but for the most part, had Depay in his pocket...

Unfortunately for Firmino, he's been Markovic'ed... a tough start, but played out of position and not set up for success

edit: Also, i thought Can looked like one of the few who gave a damn yesterday
