+1

All of this in Klopps first half season on the job, which makes me ecstatic for the future of this club! Crazy to think he came in back in October, and already has this squad playing at this level. Its amazing to see the squad so organized, and crisp on passing and executing tactics, when with BR they were a total cluster frick. Sky is the limit really. Im friggin pumped to have a guy at the helm who is this awesome.

It's amazing what happens when you play the guys in their natural position huh?

6-7 months on the job and 2 cup finals... UCL next season would be the cherry on top...

With the TV $ and UCL $... it may be a very good summer!

Klopp will win a UCL title and a league title here before he leaves.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, but the future looks very very bright...

Besides, who said he's ever gonna leave

You mean to tell me that Sterling and Markovic weren't good wing backs?

Red Card was probably a bad call

It wouldn't have been a red if he hadn't been abusive to the ref in the 1st half and got a yellow.

Too bad, so sad.

In fairness, the challenge looked much worse in real time on a first look (rewatched the game last night and kept an eye on it)... Replay shows it probably wasn't a bookable offense, but watching it at the speed the ref saw it, you can see why he gave the card.

I agree.

But I stress that if said player hadn't been stupid in abusing the referee in the 1st half, he wouldn't have been sent off for a questionable call in the 2nd half.

Agreed, no reason to get that first yellow that early in the game

Rumors are floating around that both Origi and Hendo could be back and available to play in the final in Basel...

Yeah... I want to believe you, but there is a chance you posted and then downvoted yourself. So there's that.

So if Origi and Hendo are back, what does our XI look like for the final?

Would think a quickly becoming in form Sturridge would start and bring on Origi as a Super Sub?

Can and Hendo in the midfield? Where do you put Milner?

I honestly kind of hope Hendo doesn't make the date... I know that is counterintuitive, but Milner has been ridiculously good in this Europa run. I'd hate to see Hendo play instead of Milner for some reason.

I don't doubt Hendo's ability at all... This team has meshed well, and Milner/Can have been the catalysts for this form of late.

I doubt Hendo would start without any match fitness...

But I hope we have the option off the bench... along with Origi..

I want to start with the same lineup as the semis. Both those guys can come off the bench if needed.
