Fellaini is a fricking dirty count. Literally every time I watch that buffoon play he elbows someone and every time he does it he gets away with it. He took Can's face off right before the final whistle and I'm sure we won't hear a peep about it.

Guys, I think the team is coming together in certain ways. Yes, still lots of room to improve, etc. and new players are needed.

But the last few weeks, Can has been immense. I mean, he's showing that he can be the guy that we really needed him to become. Was there anyone in the center of the pitch for ManU yesterday when they had the ball? He dominated and took an elbow for his efforts (which unfortunately for us may knock Felini out of the return leg next week).

Lallana - for all the @#$ he gets for his turns and slow down, he's been great lately. His effort is always there. He closes down, he harrasses, he does a ton of simple and yet vital things well. And he's now dscoring or assisting. I don't think he's good enough for our first XI for where we want to go, but he's a hell of a sub and rotational starter.

Firmino is a goal or assist per game now. He still disappears at times, but his effort yesterday was great.

I'm happy to go to OT with the lead. Assuming we can keep them out of the net for the firs thalf next week, I think they'll have to start opening up and Klopp will have them exactly where he wants them.

We have to keep Milner on the bench right? We have looked sooo much better in attack in the last 120 some odd minutes without him on the pitch.

I'd think so, because the difference without him has been immense

Except that on the road, we'll likely adopt a more defensive nature early on, if I had to guess (who the hell knows what Klopp will do).

I could see it either way really.

That was such a great win, being ever more sweet considering the opponent... that said, they were god awful as much as we played well...

DDG reiterates our need for a top GK...

Firmino needs some consideration for signing of the season in the league... he has quietly put up some very good numbers, with... being new to the league, breaking a bone in his back, and being played on the wing by Rodgers.. He still lacks some consistency, but look out once he gets fully acclimated (hopefully next season)!

I think Lallana has shown signs of improvement under Klopp... Ive never questioned his technical ability, more so his decision making and end product (and pace)... I hope he continues...

I even think Lovren looks better... I think he's benefited from playing on the right, beside Sakho... him and Moreno on the left was a disaster waiting to happen (with Skrtel on the right of them)..

United looked poor again today, I really hope that form continues on Thursday. Lallana and Lovren look like completely different players under Klopp. It truly is amazing what happens when you actually put players at their best position. Who would have figured that?!

I've not lost ALL hope, but I really don't think you all have much to worry about on Thursday!

Yeah, I'm not gonna assume anything, but regardless of the rest of this season, at least they won't be the most disappointing team I follow this season...

That honor clearly goes to LSU basketball

That being said, we have a great shot at the quarterfinals, and I'm starting to get a little bit of hope about this competition

I'm not falling into that trap. BvB is a top 5 team in the world right now.

I think its probably time.

He's been good (possibly really good) in certain respects. But I also think he's missing a certain...understanding of how decisions made for and about a club like like Liverpool can have some big reactions.

Overall, I'm pleased with (and I recognize some of these things he's had more to do with than others)the improvements in our commercial ventures, stadium is being enlarged, wage bill is more manageable - pretty much we are in a much better position financially than we were just a few years ago.

However, he's had a few misteps that were pretty big - including "appearing" to be in teh way or at least inept when it comes to locking up a key player in the transfer market, the ticket fiasco, etc. Probbably the right guy for the right time, but also likely a good time for him to go.

No doubt. Aubameyang has been unstoppable this season. I really, really hope he doesn't move the EPL in the offseason. He needs to go play in Spain.

I think the consensus with Ayre is that he has been good on the business side of the house, but not really on the football side... He's also a local boy, so I'm sure that helped FSG acclimate to the local community the past few years..

It looks like FSG already have a lot of good people in place on the business side (Mike Gordon/Billy Hogan)... but we really need a director of football, to run things ay to day at Melwood...

I wonder if Michael Zorc rumors will heat up...

I read the other day that he'd agreed in principle with Real Madrid. Who knows if that's true or not

Agreed, but still a little hopeful if the draw is right

Been a few days, but having watched the game I can't think of a single yellow he gave out that wasn't legit.

I think he did a good job.

Supposedly Moreno had a hammy problem today. May not be able to play tomorrow.

Could mean smith with the start though I may almost rather have Milner do it.
