I think the most pressing is a CB, and the DM...Possibly the striker too

I'm still dumbfounded as to why we brought in Benteke... IMO, it's so hard to get a good feel for the rest of attack, when he just brings everything to a grinding halt...

That said, we need a over haul at quite a few positions..

How every fricking team we play can whip in dangerous crosses through set pieces or open play, and we can't deliver anything... is beyond fricking me..

Frankly, there's not a single person in our squad that should be in our starting XI. Not one guy is close to consistent enough to really be a starting XI guy in a team that has any hopes of top 4. We're deluding ourselves otherwise.

Cou can be incredible, but then disappears for a month. Sorry, but thats not nearly good enough.

So really, we need at least 11 new guys. We don't defend well. Don't have enough fight. Don't create enough chances. We were beaten 5-0 over two games to @#$@# West Ham, and today could have easily been 4-0 or worse if Migs wasn't on his game or the post was 4 inches wider.

We barely created anything threatening. Hell, 3/4 of our corners were fifty feet high and 30 yards away from goal.

Our biggest issue, which is thanks for BR, is that all the guys we've brought in do not in any way play well together. They all do different non-congruent things that don't mesh. I watch a Watford, West Ham, etc. play a certain style that almost every player fits. West Ham sent in 10 crosses today that were better crosses than anything we've sent into the box in the last 10 games. That shouldn't be our strenght, but we should be capable of sending in a good one at some point?

I disagree.

Coutinho is trying to do too much, because he has to do too much. He is much life effective when he has something resembling SAS, which he hasn't had since Tottenham away last year.

Henderson, and Moreno I would say are probably our two best players after Coutinho and I would say are definite starting XI quality.

Moreno likely will be but isnt consistent enough yet. Did he have any real threatening moments today or good crosses? He gives up some defensive liabilities and we aren't getting any beneft from what we're giving up right now.

Cou would work better with SAS type players, but he spent most of his touches today trying to set up another incredible goal (of which he he's less than 5% on target let alone likely to get a goal) and other than that, I'm struggling to figure out anything of value he did? Or has done the last several matches? And his disappearing act was common even with SAS.

Hendo will be in and out of the line-up possibly for years.

I think some of the pieces are there and maybe need some complimenting players to help them excel... I agree in the sense that it seems like we buy just random players that are individually okay, but collectively don't fit... For instance, I like Firmino and still think he can become very good after he has a season to acclimate to the EPL... but when we lost Sterling, we should have invested in a player that is comfortable out wide, when we already have Coutinho...

I miss the SAS Coutinho who had two forwards willing to make runs on to his amazing through balls... we don't see that anymore.. its now him just trying to score worldies every match...

Honestly, I don't know what we should do in January... I don't think we'll do much and then over haul this summer.

Thankfully, I believe Klopp has a clear vision of the type of players he wants and I have to believe the owners will back him..

I've heard rumors popping up about possibly getting Toni kroos in the summer. Holy shite I would absolutely love this signing. Kid is world class and him and can would boss the midfield. The German players are coming

If anything, klopp suffering with the excuses we put on the field will show him exactly what he needs. Pretty commendable how he's handled questions on overhauling the squad, but you could look at his face and see that 1) he clearly doesn't rate some of the guys on the pitch and 2) he doesn't approve of our play right now

I've heard the Kroos rumors as well. I am not looking for much action this month but I have a felling the summer is going to be brutal.

Which is what baffles me, because I'm sure the guys on the team hear the rumblings, so why the hell wouldn't you be playing your arse off to prove your worth?

Today it looked like we just didn't care to be there at all

I think Kroos is great... and I would never turn down a great player, but I think we have more pressing needs... because his time at RM has proved he is not a holding mid...

I'd love Casemiro from RM...

I guess it all depends on what Klopp's intent is.. If it's a 4231, then I'd rather see us address other needs with that £££..

**This opinion would change if Hendo's heel starts to keep him out on a regular basis

If true, the Ter Stegen rumors have the most excited... I wouldn't doubt if there is something in it, because he does not want to be just a Cup keeper right now... Now, whether we can get him or not is a lot more questionable...

I hope we get him, it may not be our most pressing need, but I think he'd certainly instill a lot more confidence in the team and the fans

Obviously, I wouldn't turn him down..

There are some rumors that RM are going to offload up to ten players, to "reload"

Truth be told, there aren't many of those I'd turn down at LFC

I mean, I don't see how we could NOT bring in at least one CB and a wide player. Glad we gritted out a win with a banged up Toure and Licas playing CB. Yeesh.
