He's very funny. Was on the Daily Show for years. Even covered for John Stewart while he was in the middle east filming a movie. His stand up is fantastic as well.

I would be very pleased with that. Disappointed about Remy, but hopefully we still go for another forward/versatile attacker.
With some of the names we were kind of linked with - Lavezzi and Lacazette - I'd be ok with, but wouldn't mind someone of a little higher quality especially if we have the extra money from selling off some other guys late in the window.

If we can get those 2 done, that gives us a month to concentrate on signing another forward... I think we have time, because Daniel will be the main man early on...
I'd prefer someone who can operate across the front 3 and as a lone striker (Remy was perfect for that).. Lacazette may be the closest thing, but he has some question marks...
edit: maybe Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang? recent rumors are that BvB are inquiring about Ilori on loan

I think he is supposed to get a new number, but it looks like 11? I guess it's his preference, but I would be okay with him taking 7 as well.

Good question... I was thinking 7 or at least 11... only thing I can think of is Rodgers is a) waiting to see who else we sign or b) doesn't want him to think he's "made it"

Good business if that happens. Let Manquillo/Flanno battle it out on the right, and Moreno/Enrique on the left. A little competition is good. Getting £4m now is just getting value at this point.
