I think FSG are smart enough to see whats going on and that we MAY have to take a step backwards to go forwards... this is a very young and exciting squad!

Southampton just picked up Ryan Bertrand on loan. Guess we'll just have to go after Moreno now!

Bertrand just went on loan to Southampton, so that should make some of you feel better.

I have never been a big fan of Borini. I am a huge fan of Dirk Kuyt because he gave everything for the shirt but I honestly believe he wasn't the player we needed. Just like I am a fan of Lucas but I don't believe he is the right player for us.

Please let FSG go nuts in the next few days and pull a rabbit out of the hat.

Do Reds fans have a curfew? Sterling served up a marvelous goal in the win over City and not one comment.

Hard to take too much from that game, but big we ever have to start Kelley, toure and Coates in a match of any meaning we are screweed. All three looked slow in mind and body yesterday. We could probably cover for one in some games but not multiple. Kelley needs to be tried at cb and kept away from rb.

Sterling is amazing.

Felt like sturridge again just had long stretches where he wasn't involved at all. It's a bit worrisome but hopefully a full squad in a meaningful game shows different.

Slow moving on the transfer front...

I said after the last match and I'll say it again, Seba Coates looks pretty good.. may not need an Agger replacement if he goes..

i thought coates looked poor. maybe i was too harsh bc of jovetic out-muscling him on the goal and his awful tackle for the yellow card.

I wouldn't consider CB a need whether Agger leaves or not. I doubt we would be able to bring anyone in who would be OK being our 4th/5th central defender.

I thought he was very good and IMO the Jovetic goal was more the ball just falling at his feet... not much Seba could do there... but he showed good positioning and made some key clearances early on..

He isn't perfect and he def lacks pace... Jovetic will make a few defenders look bad if he stays healthy..

The late tackle was bad, but I'll just chalk that up to maybe late on in the game and him lacking fitness, coming off his ACL tear...

Not saying I'm ready for him to start, but if Agger leaves, I would be OK letting him and Toure battle it out for our 4th/5th CB position..

Anyone else not real excited about this Everton team? They get another year together and will likely add a bit more depth...

Howard Robels

Coleman Hibbert
Jagielka Stones
Distin Alcaraz
Baines Oveido

Barry Gibson
McCarthy Besic

Mirallas McGeady
Barkley Naismith
Pienaar Osman

Lukaku Kone
