It really is. Especially in this situation, and having to go through another "investigation" from FIFA after they had one last year causing one of our starting CB's to miss like 3 months or something crazy including a Europa final

That's fricking horseshite. If he's really retired from intentional football, you would think he/his agent/Liverpool would have filed something with FIFA stating as much, which would have prevented this farce.

To be fair, FIFA kicked up a fuss with Ribery some years back when he said he retired from international football and said he was too young and that he had to play.
They're just a corrupt organization with retarded rules

Liverpool considering playing Matip at Plymouth and risking any fall out from Fifa.
And also of note, Cameroon drew with Burkina Faso on Saturday
Would be hilarious if they can't even make it out of their garbage group. Then Broos should be deservedly fired

How the frick can FIFA make a player play for their national team if they don't want to? If he didn't sign a contract with his country to play for them for a certain time period, than I would definitely try to fight this.

And why do clubs have to release players during this non-international window?

Will Pogba get a game suspension.....I am not hopeful but having him play does not mean much ....hes a non factor

Would've probably liked seeing Ojo start instead of a Coutinho but Klopp probably wanted him for a little extra creativity/magic to break them down.
I'd like to see Wilson come on in the second half

Origi was horrible.
Sturridge adds very little to this team. He's either permanently physically incapable or he just doesn't have the desire to put in the effort in any case outside of "feed me the ball in front of the net".

We have lost so much when we had to move Bobby from up front with Cou and Mane wide. I hate to say it but we should sell Sturridge and go get someone who fits the system .
