So if not VVD (I'm not giving up hope cause this shite is crazy) then who do you see us really going after at LCB? We need to wrap up Salah ASAP to get other players not thinking about this frick up. Keith is my dream target though after VVD. Still cannot believe this happened?!

I wouldn't give up hope. VVD is obviously gonna be upset. He could always Ashley Cole his may into a move. If i was man united I'd be trying to get in there. Virgil and Bailly would be a sick tandem.

I'd take him in a heartbeat, but I think he'd be way to expensive..
If we get another goal scoring wide forward, like Mane, I'm happy with Firmino being our main striker...

There's probably a few I'd rather than Costa, but I wouldn't turn him down if an agreement was made... he is a goal scorer and would give us a presence up top we do not have.. Even though he is a piece of work..

I think VVD will push for a move. He has since changed this back, but he was pretty petulant about it yesterday

Southampton is being sold to a Chinese consortium for £190 mn. Something tells me this might have something to do with them being adamant about not selling VvD. They wouldn't have been able to sell their most valuable player while going through an acquisition.

Like I have stated here before and I think it is more glaring after this week. FSG have done the job that they needed to do up to this point. They have dug us out of debt, rebuilt our brand (not a ton of work there), hired our manager for the future and have greatly improved the Anfield footprint. The issue I have is that going forward are we truly a big club or someone who quibbles over numbers? I still have hope that we land our guy's this window and do believe that we are being prudent. The problem I have is that we are now going to bs competing against clubs who don't let their prime targets off the hook over money. I'm not saying we need to be City but I just wish we would target our guys and go get them, history says Klopp is not going to ask for a Pogba type deal and he seems to fully understand not overpaying for players. The problem I have is we are seem to haggle when we should be closing. ABC, ALWAYS BE CLOSING.
