Lallana was looking pretty gassed at the end of last match so I'd guess they still want to ease him in. Maybe he comes on at halftime?

Good point, I would think if Lallana was ready to go he would be a no brainer.

I'm just saying if he's to play at all, he should have been started.
15 minutes in and we are yet again suffering creatively, the exact asset Lallana provides.
What we're seeing now is sluggish. No penetration at all.

We need to be patient. No mistakes on the back end.

This ref is arse today.
Also, we have largely just sat on the ball, and taken too long to pass. Those quick, first-touch passes are what we need to be doing against sides like this. Can't give them time to recover their lanes.

Nothing wrong with patience against S'hamptons bus.
Taking shots from 30 yards away is not a high % method of penetrating that bus.
All we're doing right now, instead of making intelligent penetrating runs, is being "patient" and making the entirety of Anfield nervous.

I want to see Lapland and Studge. Posthaste.

Think Southampton believes they can win now?
They've been given every reason to believe that now.
Three complete matches plus another half of football they've held Liverpool scoreless.

Has to be Lallana and possibly Sturbridge on right? And you are correct about the nervous part.

Yes. SOMEONE who can create rather than pass sideways or backwards.

I just hope Klopp doesn't wait until the 75th minute... Sturridge and Lallana.. Lucas and Origi to the bench...
I'd bring on fricking Moreno too (I know this won't happen)... give us width with pace on the left flank... I can't go another seeing watching James Milner play LB...

So much truth to that. Milner has been the feature of our attack by way of crosses... that can't happen.

Within the last 3 months, Chelsea have scored 4, Man City have scored 3, ManU have scored 3, Arsenal have scored 5... hell, Swansea has scored 2, Watford has scored 3, and West Ham has scored 3 against Southampton.
This isn't some unbreakable barrier of defense that Southampton presents.

How many matches the last three years have we seen like this? I can't count all of them.
Posted on 5/7/17 at 8:37 am to beatbammer
Ahhhh so I see we've decided to do more of the same.
Posted on 5/7/17 at 8:45 am to beatbammer
Its almost as if Klopp is actually trying to suck the life out of this Anfield crowd.

Why is 70' the Magic Minute for Klopp?
