He's done well despite having zero service from his "attacking" central midfielder Bradley.

Bradley is no Stuart Holden.

My favorite Castillo moment has been the whiff.

Mine was when he got hit in the back of the head with the fly ball.

Just a comedy of errors. I am getting drunk and am just going to try to find the humor in everything.

I think it's more that we have no fluidity as a team, just like the GC. Overall, we're much less cohesive than a year ago. I think this is just going to be a transition period as we try to settle on a new core group, and that would have happened under Bradley too.
I wouldn't expect a better 2nd half as we just introduce a whole bunch of new players into the side.

Ives: "Edgar Castillo doing a good Jonathan Bornstein impression early."

I think some of y'all are being a little rough on Bradley and Buddle. Bradley is being asked to play a position that he hasn't played in 4 years almost (that attacking mid role) and Buddle is completely isolated. His hold up play is good. Also, Bradley has looked better in a more defensive role.

Beckerman's been ok. He's done nothing special but no one should expect anything special from him. He's just a solid player.

Jones has been disappointing. Torres is not a left winger. Things have to change to start the half. Beasley or Shea would be better options on the left and we have to either go 4-4-2 with Agudelo alongside Buddle or put somebody different in the hole.

Any word on why they introduced this English as a 2nd language guy? If it's to get the Mexican demographic, ESPN can suck it. Either way, ESPN can suck it.

It's not like that would knock our flow off.

So Bradley's constant dithering on the ball and inability to connect a decent pass is because of poor service from the back and Beckerman sucks because he only completes passes backwards to guys who can't pass. Wow, you have a really interesting way of looking at things...

Just saying Mexico is going to run circles around us again and we'll just look uncomfortable.

I wonder how things are at The Bulldog. Think anybody is drinking Corona?

My second half changes would be

:Bringing Brek Shea on as LM
:Bringing Zach Loyd on as LB
:Bringing Rico Clark on for Jermaine Jones
:Moving Torres from LM to AM
:Moving Bradley from AM to DM
:And bringing Beckerman off.

i'll be honest. i think when we all saw this lineup we all knew that there would be major problems distributing the ball offensively

we have 3 DMs and a holding mid out there. and landon. and buddle

I never said that Beckerman sucks. I'm a pretty big fan of him as a player. I'm just saying that he hasn't moved us forward.
