Not a fan of the crest. It has some good elements, but I hate the attempt to make the logo slightly 3D. Also not a fan of the gradients and shading.

I like it!!
It does NOT have a soccer ball in it. Excellent.
What IS it with these singular, stupid nicknames....Impact, Crew, Fire, Revolution, Galaxy, ...sorry, I just don't like it, and it doesn't matter the sport, although in years past I supported the Jazz, and the Brass.
Football clubs nicknames need to be organic, not branded. Everton are toffees, because the FANS started calling them that, and the same for other clubs. All this test marketing a team name, then changing just bugs me to no end.
Soccer is not a Tigers or Bulldogs, or whatever kind of sport, TO ME, unless those names are earned or given by the fans. Hull City are Tigers because of their colors, not because it was test marketed. LSU is Tigers because of a long glorious history dating back to the 19th century.
Like Montreal's badge, like the motto on it, like Blackburns' Arte et labora....like the colors, just that stupid name.
Thank the Lord Dallas Burn and Tampa Bay Mutiny are gone.

Need a name change:
Montreal Impact
San Jose Earthquakes
Colorado Rapids
New England Revolution
Columbus Crew
Need a crest change:
Montreal Impact
San Jose Earthquakes
Colorado Rapids
New England Revolution

Need a crest change:

I agree with everyone of those.

I disagree with this one.
The NASL team (back in the 70's when Pele played) was named the Quakes. They should stick with that tradition. They need a new crest for sure, though.

Speaking of New England does anyone think they might be better off in Boston instead of Foxborough?

I know it's tradition, but it's really lame.

Absolutely, but since the Kraft's own Gillette Stadium it's free to play there. I think Harvard Stadium would be a much better temporary alternative.

Everybody should think that.
New England needs a soccer stadium anywhere. If they build one, they will do better than they're doing now. The problem is that the Krafts own Gilette stadium, so there's no economic benefit to getting a new stadium.
They'd rather be minor league and leech off of the rest of the league.

That's where the Breakers play, so it may actually cause a minor conflict. I'm sure they could share since the guys share with the Pats.

I agree, but, I think American teams can try a bit too hard to emulate European clubs.
Real Salt Lake, Sporting KC, DC United... none of them sound right.

I actually love the sound of DC United
Sporting KC isn't bad at all IMO
I can agree on Real Salt Lake though.

Yeah I think DC United sounds good. Sporting KC is a lot better than the Wizards and Real Salt Lake is pretty dumb IMO.

I guess if I wanted to get hyper-technical, none of them should use FC either. Since the American term is soccer, it should be SC Dallas or Toronto SC. But, we'll leave that alone.
